No recent tales of unrequited love from you, LH? :D

Nope. It all seems to stop after talking to them for 5 mins when i say 'I got a mattress in the van'
Hi there! We’ve had to remove your signature. It was so good we removed it because we cannot think of one so good as you had and need to protect others from seeing such a great signature.

Right thats it...my profile is now officially down and will be staying down. Deleted.
I really want to name and shame the idiots involved but I wont lower myself to their level (yes there is more than one)
I posted earlier that I thought I may have been set up by the guy who dumped me by text, well call it coincidence but I have since been contacted by another 2 users who, surprise surprise, work at the same place. I appreciate that it is a huge company with about 4 offices in Edinburgh but come on...
All of them have said they dont have a "base" and that they float around within the company. I decided not to say I had dated someone from the company to the last guy who messaged but low and behold, he asked me!
Was tempted to say "yes, I dated ***** and we broke up as he was full of carp and even more carp in the sack!"
That way if it is him with multiple profiles it would give him something to think about. I never though, instead I chose to delete my profile. Theres got to be easier ways of meeting people anyway right??
I would like to thank everyone on here for the help and encouragement given to me when I decided to dip my feet in the water. Good luck to all.I will still be checking in on here to see how everyone is doing. Maybe someone will get lucky, just not me!!

Sorry it's not been working out for you Lou. It's probably no consolation but from this side of the fence there seems to be just as many loony women out there.

Seems to be an awful lot of people out there that are 1 sandwich short of a picnic. I was looking at a site the other day at some profiles that were looking for a long term relationship and they rated their own fidelity/loyalty at 30% - how does that work?

I get more loyalty from my dog and she'll follow anyone with a bag of treats:D

I've just been dumped...by TEXT!! Gutless wonder!!
Back to the drawing board I guess lol.
Hope everyone else is having more luck than me.
    Lou xx

Sorry to hear that but at least you got a text! I seem to get the ones who are even more gutless and don't reply to texts no doubt hoping I will get the message eventually!!

I had two dates with a guy, lots of texts and he called a few times. We meet up for the second time on saturday and I think it went well, no kissing yet, there was that awkward parting moment when he dropped me off when neither is not sure whether to kiss or not. Anyway I texted him after to thank him for lunch and he replied. I text the next day and he never replied. So nothing from him since satuday afternoon! I always tell someone if I think it's going nowhere, that way neither wastes their time. !!!!!! guys grow some I say!!!

Awe Lou, seems such a shame that some utter t0ss3rs gets kicks like this. I can imagine what company they work for and it certainly doesn't seem to be to hard to guess, I have dated some females from said company and they all went behind my back.

I would stick at it, I'm just trying to configure my OKCupid account, there are decent people out there, its just finding them.

The bit in bold would be funny and I'm sure make you feel better, I would be tempted to send it to him, copy in HR and say he left some work documents at your place that will land him in it deep. Maybe mention something about deleting those photos from his company PC/Laptop?phone :-)

Or maybe not as you seem bigger than him / them.

Nah, always occupy the moral high ground. Once you crawl down to their level it can be hard to climb back up.

Don't be disillusioned Lou, get multi-dating asap. Just go out there and have some fun, Mr Right will turn up when you least expect it. The intensity of internet dating is just a waste of time in most cases.
