I joined about 3 weeks ago. I think from a male point of view if you show a semblance of normality and don't send pervy or weird messages you'll stand out! There's so many creeps on there that women have their guard up immediately. I've had success to chatting normally, not even mentioning relationships etc and staying well away from anything to do with sex. If you take it slowly women can see that you're interested in more than sex and you'll develop a good connection.

Had my first date on Sunday, she then came round for dinner and a DVD last night which went well. Seeing her again on Sunday.

In July I got chatting to a man who works away, he seemed nice and made an effort to chat every day incl calling me and using webcam so we met in Aug and had a great day where he kept holding my hand then kissed me telling me I was 'amazing' then in the evening told me I wasn't his type and that I am too fat etc (had seen me on webcam so not like I hid things) apparently he only likes girls of a size 8-10 max, he knew I was bigger from the start. I put it down to him being a complete troll and moved on.

2 weeks later he text, started being nice then told me he was about to have sex with a 'fit' girl so I told him to delete my number and sod off.

Heard nothing until Nov, I installed whatsapp and he sent messages asking to see me and an explicit photo. I blew him out and again he got abusive telling me I'm too fat for him etc you know 12 year old play ground stuff so I blocked his number.

Fastforward to yesterday, I joined Badoo as I was bored and within a hour or so I get a message from him saying 'Hi' I asked him what he wanted and he went into sending me insults which don't upset me as I realise how pathetic he is being and know that this time it is not me with the problem.

I just told him to shut up and leave me alone and he replied 'I'm going to f*** you up the bottom'

This is a 38 year old man??? well I think he is 38 his profile on pof said 38 when I met him, his new one said 36 and his badoo says 38 so could be anything.

Does anyone have any idea why he is doing this? I am baffled because if I don't like someone I don't go out of my way to abuse them because I'm 26 not 12.

Maybe he's come off his medication?! lol!

I always find the 'report post to administrator' button helps with these looneys and gets them kicked off the site

It probably is but he doesn't do it 24/7, hasn't threatened me and there has been no sexual contact so the most the police will do is call him and tell him to leave me alone.

The likely hood of a man who acts like that being worried about a phone call from the police is slim, I haven't done anything to him to hurt him so I doubt I'm the only one he has behaved like this with and think a call from the police might just give him more ammo.

I don't feel threatened by him as he doesn't know where I live so I don't feel like I'm in danger as I think he is all gob no trousers anyway as I did offer to let him meet me in Nov so he could try take his anger out in person but he changed tact and told me not to be silly as he doesn't do that.

He is just a sad old man who seems to have issues with women but doesn't realise how stupid he looks.
