Can I just ask you all for your advice please.

We left it that if I wanted to get in touch that he would leave it to me - have had one text since just saying to have a nice day.

My cowardly side of me just wants to leave things but my polite side tells me that I should at least send an e-mail to say 'No thanks'

    What do people usually do?

If he left 'the ball' in your court and you didn't contact him, then he sent you a little prompt message and you still didn't reply then i'd think he's probably got the hint that your not interested. However if he messages again just put the poor guy out of his misery.

As for me....think i should figure out how to multi quote in the same message (or just quote properly at all)

I met a man off a site last week. He was a nice man but seemed intent on getting me to stay the night with him (at my own pace of course !!) but although we chatted OK there was absolutly nothing about him that I fancied - or could ever fancy..

We left it that if I wanted to get in touch that he would leave it to me - have had one text since just saying to have a nice day.

I'm just not sure what would be the best - if someone did it to me would I be more upset at the 'No thanks - your not my type'

    What do people usually do?

In my experience of dates if you both dont fancy each other you just dont text..A few ladies I have met who I didnt fancy or her me ,just generally say when you leave thanks for a nice evening and then dont text each other again..If I get a text from a lady who wants to see me again but I dont her I just normally send a thanks but no thanks type of text, but in a nice way theres no point in being hurtfull or nasty as there is someone for everyone in this big world

The other way round if I send a text love to see you again and dont get a reply I move on

I asked this question last week but no one replied :D I haven't long re-joined, so might just leave it until I know more about them. Have a good time if you decide to go, it's in Madness isn't it?

Hi, yes he does sound quite controlling/scary. I haven't give him any personal info at all. He only knows my name & the town I live in.

I did end communication with him thankfully.

Your full name as well as the town?

So hopefully he won't look on the electoral roll, or in the phone book, or on 192.com.

Not so bad if you're called Anne Smith, but not so good if you're called Clarabel Fitzgibbons-Rothschild.
