I'm the exact opposite, in fact it wasn't so long ago that I fell head over heels with a guy at first sight, who I later realised was very physically disabled (he did a good job of hiding it from me at first). When he finally told me the truth and I realised what he had been through, and how he had dealt with it, it just cemented things for me.

You look fine and there's nothing wrong with your profile, but I wonder if the ring on your right hand in the main pic is putting some women off? Might be worth cropping the shot.

I've never looked at PoF before but the relationship needs assessment looks like the biggest load of b*llocks going! It nearly sent me to sleep!

I noticed the ring, too, it could quite easily be mistaken for a wedding ring at first glance. Only took me a second to work out that it's on the wrong hand though

I'll edit the pic with the ring, never heard that about a ring on that finger. Trust me, I'm only interested in women, though with my current success rate, I might have to broaden my horizons
