I have a date to be arranged in the making sort of, but Im a bit nervous as I think he is totally out of my league.
What to do!!
Lisa - Sounds like he was a bit of an inseucre sort of person, better of without him, and if he is ignoring you, then I see no reason to make efforts on your part to pay him back, he sounds like a child, and you are deffo not to blame for his erectile dysfunction!0 -
jellybabyjane wrote: »dogstarheaven - I can't help with the site you mention but have you tried the Guardian site (Soulmates)? I thought it seemed quite promising although got irritated with them when they wouldn't accept my photo (they have a million rules about cropping, blah blah) so went for Match instead, but might be worth checking them out?
i've been with Soulmates before, but that was yrs ago, and i don't think i'd go with them again as i didn't have good responses. In those days, it was just voicemail, but i know it'll be online now.. besides, the pic i'm using now on Match is a cropped one with the ex cropped away! i don't have any pix on my Mac as they were all on his.. It's not ideal as it's rather too close-up for my liking and it was taken about a year and a half ago!
after reading other ppl's experiences with POF, I've been wary about meeting wierdos, so i thought Match might be a safer bet. Saying that, a friend mentioned to me that they read in a newspaper recently about a girl meeting a guy and got raped in her house. they met on Match too.. but don't worry, it'll take me a couple of months before a man is to set foot in my abode...0 -

I already paid him back as made the effort after he ignored me Sunday, too nice for my own good. Should have let him learn that if he acts like a child he will lose out.0 -
So apparently the guy i went on a date with hasn't been ignoring me, he's just been "super busy". Part of me wants to believe him (and it is plausible) but part of me isn't sure. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Why hasn't he told you this before then? Unfortunately we all have to deal with the crap we're told and deal with it in whichever way we choose. As upsetting as it sounds, I would say he's lying if he hasn't mentioned anything up till now. Join the club babes0 -

LisaB85 You have totally done the right thing, My goodness you're a saint to have put up with him till now. It's obvious he needs some counciling for his problems. You are obviously a lovely person and so will meet someone for you in time no doubt! x
I struggle to be a saint and bite my tongue, I really wanted to tell him to grow the hell up0 -

It could be true but if he is still finding time to go on pof/facebook then I'd question it.
A friend once didn't respond to my text for 2 weeks, it was during harvest and he is a farmer. I noticed he would post a fb status late at night or early in the morning, was 2 weeks before he noticed me online and said he never text back as it was 11pm when he finished work and 5am when he started so didn't want to wake me.0
