Name the airlines that require the credit card at check in?

Take a look at this site for further evidence that Singapore Airlines are scammers...

Many of the Indian airlines, but they don't always enforce it.

ALWAYS READ THE T&C for Ryanair, Singapore or whoever, simple as that.

When I posted on here, I explained to my mate that within 10 minutes there would be 10-15 posts saying it was my fault.

He didn't believe me until I explained that the people who post will have thousands of posts to their names and that they do nothing else with their sad lives except sit and sweat and post garbage in response to those posts that are trying to be of some use to people.

    Point proven.

Then why ask on here then!

As for your question, Qatar certainly ask for CC at check in as do Singapore - quite clearly stated when buying the tickets online.......and not hidden in an obscure paragraph in their T&C's.

lol, don't think we will be hearing from him/her again in the near future.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

I think the op did some good in bringing our attention to this part of SQ's terms and conditions, which s something to bear in mind for others traveling with them. To accuse them of being scammers though is just ridiculous.

From personal experience I can back up the fact that Emirates may ask for your CC at check in, although I believe it's only for bookings made in certain countries. I experienced this earlier this year with a ticket out of Hong Kong where the CC had expired and been replaced by a new one with a different number when I went to fly.
Fortunately I realised werll in advance and dealt with it through Emirates office.

I am new here and would like to offer tips and help to people who intend to fly. This thread isn't the place, any idea where I can offer my help, experience and advice to keep you all safe and aware whilst you go off on your flights? :A

Best to lurk in the Overseas/UK holiday boards & post advice as & when you feel you can help. I have in the past ended up directing people to the relevant boards on FlyerTalk as there is far more experience there.
