He didn't believe me until I explained that the people who post will have thousands of posts to their names and that they do nothing else with their sad lives except sit and sweat and post garbage in response to those posts that are trying to be of some use to people.
Point proven.
Damn, missed out
Your mate won the best anyway as you only got 3 posts within 10 mins :rotfl:0 -

So you have spoken to one airline, whom I did not state as having this policy. I have had personal experience (yep, not just speaking to a CSR!) with several airlines, yet you still think you're right?
You are really making yourself look stupid.0 -
Its in the terms and conditions that you agreed to when you booked the flight. If you didn't read them then its hard luck.
Although this practice if not commonplace for European/US carriers, it is becoming more and more common for airlines based in the East. There has been a couple of posts on this board relating to the same issue, I can't say 100% but I think Oman Air and Royal Jordanian spring to mind.
You are getting a refund, I doubt many airlines would even have done that. Yes you feel agrieved at the inconvenience caused by the airlines policy. Fair enough, however no scam has taken place here.0 -

Scam or not - think how many times Singapore Airlines and the word Scammers will feature on google as a result of this tiresome little thread!
Mission accomplished!
Then people will read the thread, realise that you are some ridiculous individual with a vendetta, and go ahead and book anyway.
Mission backfired?0 -

And you think we're all petty, you really should get out more. You really think Singapore Airlines will be worried ?0 -

Surely, they'll see that the Jeremy Kyle audience who post responses on here have thousands of irrelevant posts to their names, realise that they never leave their mobility scooters and make their way to the link I posted above!0
