Hi Jinxs
Looked last night and under defence HSBC had entered a defence after I had clicked on judgment, but 2 days before they were actually served the papers!!! Which is great!! guna try this morning and find out how they can enter a defence magically when I've clicked on judgement?!!!!!!! Surely they are too late once I've clicked!!
Hi
I know that Barcalys have entered late defences but maybe that isn't the case foe HSBC fingers crossed xI am addicted to this site:j
going to court on 20/7:eek: Barclays! WON!!!!!!!!!
Mbna just received statements 2/6.0 -
Apparently HSBC filed the defence the same day they were served but it only appeared online after I'd clicked on judgement( funny that) the guy I spoke to said that they will always allow a defence to be filed! So whats the point of having the timescales in the first place?? I think whoever it was further up is right, its a bit of bully boy tatics by the banks who are huge companies trying to intimidate the ordinary person like us!! They're not sending AQs out because a waste of time and resources because the banks don't turn up always, and with huge volume of people claiming charges back its not worth it!! I should get my copy of defence in the next couple of days!! Then don't know what happens. Watch this space.0

Have read this thread from the start & found it so helpful, thank you
The MCOL papers for Natwest were deemed served on the 10th & they have acknowledged already (very quick judging by what I have read about them so far!) so they now have until 8th May...fingers crossed they will pay up as quickly :rotfl: ok wishful thinking..will keep you posted x0 -
Hi guys,
My MCOL still stats:
Today the claim still states:
Barclays Barclays Bank PLC Issued(28/03/2007) Start
Mean anything to anyone? Barclays did also pay partial yesterday would they have told the couts that?
Thanks0 -
include weekends and bank holidays - or is this 14 Working days"
cheers0 -
Hi
It is 14 days , not working days ... goodluck with your claim..0 -
Yes they probably would have told the Court. But you must as well when it comes to the next stage.0
-
Ok Thanks
Ok, so now do they get another 14 days?
When will be their deadline?0 -
Hi, I have submitted a claim with MCOL and Lloyds have acknowledged the claim. However there is a tab labelled "Judgement" and underneath says start. When I click on start it gives me 2 options: Either, The defendant has not filed an admission or defence to my claim or The defendant admits that all money is owed. Do I need to choose one of these options now or wait until I hear further.
Chaz0 -
I am just about to file claims against Mint (£140) and Halilfax (£5345). Those amounts don't include interest by the way.
Can someone let me know as the Money Claim site doesn't give this info upfront if there is a sliding scale of costs to claim relative to the amount being claimed as my two amounts are so different.
Also do you have to work out the interest for each individual charge or can you use the simple mathematical formula included in the template on the first page of this thread.
Thanks0
