OK so we filed on MCOL on 9th March, HSBC intended to defend all the claim, that was the same day, had nothing since and I think that the 28 days are up now , so what do I do? Do I click on judgement? Or wait until tomorrow? I'm thinking because it's a government department that they will have the whole of Easter off!! Thus giving HSBC another day or 2. Thanks in advance.

    Hiya!

I'm not sure how the days will work with them hitting bank holidays.

If you click on Judgement, it will not let you go any further if they still have a few days left so just try it.

    :)

We filed on 8th March and today is judgement day! I spoke to the court today as I couldn't do the online judgement thing and they said I have to wait until tomorrow as the bank is entitled to the whole of today to defend! So I guess that you would have to wait until Thursday morning, although there is no harm is hitting the judgement button and seeing what happens!

I will be sitting with my finger poised over the mouse first thing tomorrow morning!!

You were lucky to get through!! I kept trying today but gave it up as a bad job because it was constantly engaged! Thought that because it was first day back after Easter they would be either mowed out or shut. My sis in law works for a government dept and she has every holiday going so thought that maybe they would get what the rest of us don't Friday. Monday and Tuesday!!

    Hi

I requested Judgement today and has gone through BUT have found out since that Barclays always enter late defence 8 days late on one case I was reading. Doesn't seem fair but hey we will get there in the end XX

Now I'm really fed up - it's not fair (throws toys out of pram!)

Still can't get judgement by default - will keep trying though and phone them again tomorrow if still not working.

Don't understand this whole thing about late defences - surely 28 days should mean 28 days - especially when presumably banks are just trolling out the same old information in their time honoured fashion!
