Moneyclaim Online (MCOL) question

Personally I think you've won. It says on moneyclaim online that if you are late requesting judgement, the bank can still enter a defence. But I assume if you've requested judgement immediately after the 28 days then you have won?“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

no need to change it...IF it gets to court it will automatically be transfered to your local county court0

I have 2 claims in at the moment through MCOL. When I log into the site it says under Claim Acknowledged 14.02.07 for one bank and Acknowledged 16.02.07 for the other.
Is it 28 days from these dates before I can enter judgement?0 -
I have just put my claim in on Moneyclaim against Alliance & Leicester - and am absolutely pooing my pants!!!
1. Are A&L likely to close my bank account?
2. Are they likely to defend the case?
3. On Moneyclaim it says they have 14 days to defend - what happens after that? What do I need to do?
4. Will their defense come to me or go to Moneyclaim?
Any help much appreciated!!!0 -
I issued MCOL against Cap1 on 6th February and they acknowledged the claim on the 9th.
MCOL states they have 28 days from when claim issued to reply. I have received no further info from the court. I know I have to submit a list of charges and dates, but when do I do this? Do they contact me?
Any advice would be appreciated.

You only need to submit a list of charges and dates if the bank defends the claim. If they only acknowledge it then they get the 28 days. When that time is up you go online to your claim and request a judgement by default. To do that you click on the "start" link next to your claim.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Hi All,
I have just completed my initial claim form against Lloyds TSB using the Moneyclaim Online website. I wasn't asked to give details of my local County Court at any time, am I right in thinking that this request is made on the Allocation Questionnaire? The form is showing Northampton at present.
Many thanks,
Tina0
