Yes, you can't do anything online anymore. You should hear from the court by post soon.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

It will cost an additional £100 if the claim was over £1,500.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

I didn't know there'd be extra costs involved. Whats the additional £100 for, and can it be reclaimed? It was bad enough getting hold of the £120 court fee

A £100 fee is payable when sending the AQ, however the courts seem to be scraping this process for banks now.Need is something you have to have

I am claiming interest at 8%.
I wrote to bank re claim in February and advised that I required a response within 14 days. They responded with stall tactics (looking into it internally) and I took my eye off the ball for a couple of weeks.
Now I want to go through MCOL and claim interest. The line I am interested in is the one in italics below.
County Courts Act 1984 of 8% - £xx.xx continuing at 8%
until judgment or settlement at a daily rate
of £0.xx;
I have taken the total charge value and put it into the Bank Charges Interest Calculator and calculated the interest by putting yesterdays date in.
Is this the correct method for calculating a daily rate of interest?
This is my last stumbling block before issuing proceedings, so any prompt help will be appreciated. I dont want to fluff it at this stage.
Thanks.0 -
Can anyone tell me how I close my claim? Halifax paid in full last week so I need to shut my claim but the options on MCOL are that the defendenat has admitted (which they haven't) and I have option on how I want them to pay (but they have already paid)
Can anyone advise me please?
Thanks!:heart2: Cookiepops :heart2:0 -
Hi, Am at same stage as you and just browsing for the same question - hoe this helps.
Good luck to us all!!
The claimant claims interest under section 69 of the County Courts Act 1984 at the rate of 8% a year from {date when the money became owed to you} to {the date you are issuing the claim} of £ (amount of interest only) and also interest at the same rate up to the date of judgment or earlier payment at a daily rate of {enter the daily rate of interest} To work out the daily interest. Multiply the amount of your claim (charges only, not including interest) by .000220 -
I would ring the court if you are not sure, they are very helpful.Reclaimed thanks to this site:
