Hi, I filed my mcol against Lloyds TSB on 29.03.2007, which gave them till 17.04.07 to achknowledge, which they did at the last minute on 17.04. They now have another 14days to defend. is this with or without weekends? Do you know what happens if they defend. Thanks
Pretty certain it's 14 calendar days (but hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong)
If the bank defend, then the Court will send you a 'Notice of Defence'.
Have a look out for posts by Edinburghlass - there is a link in her signature which will point you to a thread on this forum that explains it all.
Good luck
Pam
Edited to add: the post that explains it all is here0 -

To work out the daily rate you have to multiply the amount of your claim (charges only, not including interest) by .00022.Reclaimed thanks to this site:
£175 Abbey Mortgage Repayment Fee, £170.03 Capital One Bank Charges £418.07 Lloyds TSB Bank Charges, £2,671.55 Mis-sold Endowment Policy, all for OH0 -

As expected, Barclays logged a defence the day before their 28 days were up. I received the paperwork from the court today - I think their defence is the usual wording (I was trying to find a post which detailed the Barclays defence - just for peace of mind that its the bog standard stuff - any help appreciated!)
So I just wondered what happens now? The letter says the case is being transferred to court but all the test about the allocation questionnaire has been scored out.
Any advice or guidance or links to other posts would be a great help!!!
Thanks!!:heart2: Cookiepops :heart2:0 -

You are perfectly entitled to add any charge incurred up to the minute you file the claim.Reclaimed thanks to this site:
