As posted before, I have spotted a very small error in my particulars of claim. (1 number wrong in the date quoted for stat interest). Anyway, after looking on the MCOl site and some great advice from 'Apathyawakened', I was about to raise an N244 form. But I have just spotted the Barclays 28 days are nearly up! (tomorrow to be precise) So what do I do? They could defence, they could overturn the judgement by default - should I still get the N244 in or sit tight?
Thanks!:heart2: Cookiepops :heart2:0 -
it just gives them more time now they have got another 14 days,
i have heard lloyds a draging it out right till the day before the court date
so looks like i've got a long wait
Yeah Lloyds are defo the worst of the bunch for dragging it out till last giving second.
Makes me wish id banked with Halifax - they seem to pay up pretty quickly as do several other banks.
Lloyds obviously think we are THICK and will all get scared and drop the claim - little do they realise are have the support of thousands of folk on this fab web site!! - wonder who they have fighting there corner?!?!? oh yes those solicitors are probably rubbing there hands at fleecing then out of loads of money :rotfl:0 -

I have got two bank accounts with Abbey that have been open for the past 15 years. They have charged me ridiculous amounts in the past, so I sent a letter requesting my bank charges for the past 6 years. They replied saying their transactional data is separate to their customer data and is therefore not on their systems. They have offered to send me the last 14 months worth of statements for a fee of £10 however they said the rest of my data is on microfiche.
Questions?
1) Are they still obliged to provide details of all my bank charges, regardless of their company's set up?
2) Do I have the right to demand this data? I am willing to pay £10 to get it, no question
3) Is this just a ruse to fob me off?
Please help am totally clueless - Thanks0 -
am currently in the MCOL stage of my claim against Natwest, although I think I have made a mistake. When adding up my charges they came to over 6000.00 and so on the advice of a someone who had already claimed back their charges, have done this in 2 stages in order to keep the amount under 5000.00. to stay in the small claims court. I also did not claim back any interest on this amount ( 700.00 ) again to stay under 5000.00. I realise now that the threshold is prior to adding interest.
Should I continue with my separate claims, or would it be better to ammend my existing claim and re-serve. Natwest currently have until monday to enter defence on the first claim.0 -

its the last bit on the following paragraph about daily interest can anyone tell me what this is.
The claimant claims interest under section 69 of the County Courts Act 1984 at the rate of 8% a year from {date when the money became owed to you} to {the date you are issuing the claim} of £ {put the amount} and also interest at the same rate up to the date of judgment or earlier payment at a daily rate of {enter the daily rate of interest}.
