Inconclusive! But they've taken more blood and I'll see. Still can't stand up lol.

Sunnyone I have an en suit but i need help getting to it, for some reason they keep wheeling in the commode when I buzz, I'd rather use the real one lol.

Stick to your guns madam and insist on using the normal lavy!

I think being Aspie makes hopital stays easier for me if its on my terms (and it always has been) do you find it ok jen?

I know we will never really know because we know no diffrent but I see others struggeling to cope and I manage easily so long as Im in my own ensuite room.

I manage ok most of the time, depends on what sort of ward they stick me on. I once had a woman with dementia roaming about the ward (was a surgical ward but they stuck her there as there was no beds on more appropriate wards), didn't cope well with that at all and they ended up moving me to cardiac even though it was appendix surgery.

This time round I can't even hear what's going on outside my room door so nothing to do my head in except now that I'm eating they keep pestering me to eat more!

Oh and got to use a real toilet this morning, managed to work out a way of getting from chair to lav and back again using the furniture/IV stand to support me).

Finally finished my blood transfusions (lost a lot when I had the reaction to the anaesthetic and that's me just got back to normal iron levels). Hoping to be out in 2 more weeks, meanwhile the ipad is all that's keeping me sane.

Great news, keep up the good work and stay safe. The sheer luxury of being able to sit on a lavatory is not to be underestimated !

Good to hear that you're continuing to improve.
Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

They're probably scared they're going to drop you.

Hope all is going well - and you are creating a very strong case for everyone buying an iPad!
