I've got a new accessory for all you knitters out there..............a cannula!
Got my wool wrapped around the one in my hand and it helps with tension beautifully and frees up my thumbs! Nurse isn't too amused but they never are lol.
Macaroni cheese for dinner tonight, might need to encourage my mum to bring me in an alternative judging by the cheese on my toast this morning lol.0 -
You're an inspirational woman, Jen! Keep smiling, I hope you're relatively comfy0

Pretty accurate description to be fair PD.
FDL I'm pretty comfy at the moment, not sure what they've got in these drips but one of them is definitely some sort of spacey painkillerhead can get quite fuzzy with it, there's tablets too but I think they're more for my immune system, decided not to ask too many questions.
Mums bringing me in some pasta later, I wanted a KFC or something but it would seem I'm on some sort of healthy eating regime!0 -
Wishing you all the very best for a speedy recovery ((((hugs)))):heart2:No one said it was gonna be easy!0

You might like to know that the bruises left by cannulae after my exciting ops were more impressive than those from either the main surgery sites or the original injuries! :rotfl: Never thought of using them as tension adjusters for knitting, mind you I ended up with one in my foot last time, which was interesting when I forgot about it and tried to get out of bed with the tube still wrapped up in the sheets!Signature removed for peace of mind0
