Ive got the same problem too!
tried twice with google chrome tried in my name and my partners.
Used my Halifax debit card and went through the application and got the unable to continue with the order messageBUT THEY STILL TAKE THE MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT!
I travel with Ryan about 30 times a year, yep 30 times at least ! and i pay and book for other people so for example if i book 4 people on a return flight i`m paying an extra £48 per booking just for their admin fees!!
I used the electron card and the normal prepaid mastercard before with no probs!!
Im pretty sure some EU law states that you must be able to have the option of using a card that does not atract admin fees? but if they are not accepting all applications then they are not giving everyone that option, are they?
Its not as if its a credit card, its a prepaid card for Gods sakei have numerous other prepaid master cards and have never had a problem getting one!

been trying to apply for the new ryainair cash passport.
with no luck as of yet.
i have tried 3 different debit cards, and entered my details about 6 times now, and all i get is the following message.
Sorry...
We are unable to continue with your online Ryanair Cash Passport order at this time.
Thank you for choosing Ryanair Cash Passport.
has anyone succeeded in completing the application?
there seems to be no help or phone numbers that can be used for queries regarding this card, well not until you have the card that is.
I phoned up the general ryanair customer services 10ppm number, to have the operator say, Cash Passport, i dont know what that is, you can book without charges using a mastercard prepaid card.0 -
I finally applied successfully after a few more attempts the weekend before last. Had tried every weekend a few times for about a month!
I got my card in the post this week and have activated it etc. I've read all the charges again. I generally book a few Ryanair flights a year - so I doubt the charge if I don't use it for six months won't be an issue. And as far as I can tell if it did happen, I could just use it for a normal purchase in a store and incur the 50p charge? So in the very worst case it costs £1 a year? Which is actually better than the Prepaid Mastercard I had from ICE - it charged 2% to add funds to the card.
I took a bit of persistence to get the card though!0 -
I am unable to get this card because their application system supposedly does not recognise my post code / house name even though I have lived at the same address for 10 years so its not like its a new build or anything. Seems a bit of a scam to discourage application to me.
I never have a problem booking a ryan air flight with this address.0 -
I have been having the same problem. Have tried all I could but every time I get
'We are unable to continue with your online Ryanair Cash Passport order at this time.

I have tried with Visa Electron from Halifax and Visa Debit from Barclays and of course all the browsers. I might have to go for the manual method. Already sent an e-mail to the card services people and they have asked me to send them scanned copies of passport etc.
I would hate to do that but seems like I don't have a choice0 -
Just an update - I sent them the scanned photo-copies of my passport ( only the picture page ) and my provisional driving licence.
They sent me ( on the same day ) a form to fill out - which is basically a word document asking for the same details as you would fill online like name, address etc - filled it, printed it, signed and scanned and sent it back as an attachment to the e-mail.
Then they sent me a mail asking for doing the initial load. Gave me a reference number ( which they said is my order number ) to use in the bank transfer along with of course the sort code and account number of theirs.
Have transferred 156 pounds yesterday evening.
Now waiting for the card which they said will be dispatched within 3 business days along with the 6 pounds Ryanair voucher.
So now waiting....will update once I have the card.0 -

I have been trying for nearly a week and having the same problem. I tried two different debit cards without success. My partner and I fly with Ryanair around three times a year and have always had the various fee free cards that Ryanair use from an electron card to a prepaid card so Ryanair will have my details on their system (email address etc). The last card I had was a Caxton Mastercard. After trying around eight times without success my partner tried instead. This included a new bank card and new email address and hey presto, it worked first time for her. I've no idea why someone who's details Ryanair will have on their system is repeatedly rejected but a new set of details is accepted first time. I know it can't be because of a credit rating as I owe nothing to anyone and this is not a credit card anyway. My advice would be to start with trying an alternative email address when you fill in the form. If that doesn't work, try what I did and asking a close friend or relative to apply for the card and give them the money if their application is successful. Hope this helps.
Thanks for your advise blueben. What you wrote makes sense and this might well be the reason as I have also flown a few times with Ryanair in the past using the Kalixa prepaid mastercard.
I have since applied using their 'manual' method and waiting for the card to arrive. Thanks for your input anyway as it might be helpful to others having the same weird problem.0 -
