Hello again
By the way I am Mrs Maypole :rotfl:
Well there is another reply and Ms Pell has given me the address of their legal team and still insisting that I should take this up with T&C parking, which of course I will not.
But I will write to the legal team with my complaint.0 -

Not sure why you are wasting your time and effort on this
Just ignore these morons and any junk mail they send you.
ASDA are totally clueless on this and will not help you .
And how exactly are Asda likely to get a clue if nobody complains?Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

Thats half the problem, both the retailers/car park owners (in this case ASDA) and the public are generaly un aware of what these PPCs realy are - they look official so they must be official appears to eb the overuliong attitude, even when ppc tickets are reported in the media they invariably refer to them as fines and penaltys, further helping the PPC cause.
Once youve seen through the sham, then its a lights on moment, and as such those who have seen the light should do their best to spread the word everywhere, and complain to any landowner/car park operator who thinks its a good idea to have these PPCs agressivly preying upon their customers niavety. From the Plain Language Commission:

I suspect higher up the chain i.e. the people the customer never gets to interact with , they know exactly what the case is ..and the point is they simply do not care .
Sadly most major businesses have this attitude as they believe they have so many customers that they will always be ok, generally speaking they are pretty much correct in their assertion.
Businesses like ASDA etc will never be the ones to remove PPCs the only way that will happen is when it becomes a non viable business .. i.e .more people ignore than pay ...and moaning to ASDA etc does not make more people ignore these fake tickets.0 -
Imagine if Asda noticed that complaints about the PPC were soaring and taking up lots of their time, and that customers were not taking no for an answer and simply carrying on complaining up the line each time and voting with their feet?
That's the level of complaints that will have an effect and I am very glad that maypole is bothering.
Imagine, indeed ,not ever gonna happen though....=reality check = these big companies really don't give a crap and have too many customers who are not PPC victims who will always shop there.0 -

Mention somewhere that under the Law of Agency you hold ASDA liable for the actions of their agents T&C, and as principal this is a matter for ASDA to resolve and not T&C.Je Suis Cecil.0 -
Thank you. I will keep that in mind.0

If someone said that to me I would go further up the chain until I found someone that cared that I had just been told to shop elsewhere.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0
