Same here!! anyone got the landline no for Croydon branch?, called the DHL one on saynoto0870.com said they no longer work for Yodel what's going on :(
Why do you want to speak to Yodel?

Surely you need to speak to whoever sent the parcel to you.
It is their responsibility until you receive it.

Does anyone know what counts as a "successful delivery"? My OH placed an order on Sunday with the delivery option stating "you can expect your order within 2-3 working days" (so no specific delivery date specified). It seems that Yodel attempted delivery yesterday while we were both at work and have left a note saying the parcel is at no.37 but the people living at no.37 say no package has been left with them.

Now Yodel's tracking system shows as delivered, but it has been delivered elsewhere essentially and we're unable to locate the item!

I like to take the 2 prong attack tactic!
TBH i wanted to hear from the horses mouth why i am accused of signing for a package when i was at work........!. My folks signed for one, but that was from amazon, this is from Gap.
Now Gap have run out of the product aarrgghh
No one said it was gonna be easy!

Maybe number thirty-seven have pinched it.
The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark

This thought has certainly crossed our minds. Hence why I don't feel that leaving parcels with random neighbours is an acceptable "completion of delivery" - they have no idea whether the items will actually ever reach the intended person since the neighbours could simply keep the item!

But what are the alternatives, given the price that has been paid? If you want a "signed for" only service, you will have to pay more. The only other option is to leave a note on your door, either suggesting a safe place, or not to leave parcels with neighbours. But then, you risk not being able to receive any deliveries.

With all that said, the delivery is not complete, until it has been delivered to you at your address.

Well I manage to get all my Royal Mail deliveries, whether they require a signature or not... and they're never left with neighbours! Yodel's 'missed delivery' slips do have an option stating that the parcel has been returned to the depot and to arrange redelivery or collection, so why don't they do this?

Also the package has been signed for... by "Jones" but this information is useless when we don't know who that is, it could be a fake name and Jones is potentially the most common surname in Wales!

It is a lot easier to post a letter through a letterbox than a parcel. If you get your "signed for" post easily, what happens when you are not here?

I was talking about parcels, it would be completely unreasonable to compare the ability to post letters and parcels! The Royal Mail take anything that's too large or requires a signature back to the sorting office, I can then either collect it (usually after 24 hours) or arrange redelivery for a day when I will be available to receive the delivery.
