    Arrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhh I hate VIRGIN!!!!!

Sorry, needed to let out a little steam. Hubby got the Virgin credit card statement, we expected to see £0. Nope. In credit by 59p. Why are they so completely useless? I'm glad to see my hubby wants his 59p back as much as I do. I know some people will see it as a waste of time, but if 1 million customers were overcharged by 59p then Virgin would make over half a million. Sorry, can't help it...thats just how I work.

Hubby and I have just put up the tent from FIL in our garden!! I am very excited about going camping now :D It's bringing back floods of memories, and this time it'll be even better because it's with my hubby. :)

Just when things are looking up there always seems to be something lurking round the corner to bring you down again.

Hubbys car broke down today :( It's now turning out that selling his car for a cheaper one was not money saving at all. All the money saved on road tax and insurance is going on repairs :(

Always something ready to bite you on the bum isn't there?

Perhaps you could buy him some roller skates :rotfl:

Tell me about it. You know your roller skate idea isn't far off what I've been trying to convince him for a long time....
  • Sorry to hear about the car. Try and get a good mechanic if you can - some of them can be really dodgy and rip you right off. If you have any mates who know about cars it might be worth getting them to check what's wrong and that you aren't being made to pay for work you don't need.
Shame that hubby doesn't want to try for a transfer but I know how when you are with people you like you always think that you won't meet as nice people somewhere else etc. (You always do though!)
Hope the car is better soon!

    Hi.

Sorry to hear about your car. Good luck with that.

I have no prospect of holidays abroad for a few years and I am going camping this year down the New Forest. The kids love it down there and it is only 2-3 hour drive from SE Kent.

We brought our tent sleeping bags from Argos for £99 last year on a special deal. The bits you need are quite cheap(Picked up a folding picnic table from a boot fair for £2 on sunday) and once you have them the UK is at your fingertips.

Back to basics. Cannot beat it.

Good news about the car...we feared it was an oil leak, but what had leaked was all the power steering fluid :) Excellent news and that would also explain why OH was complaining that the steering was crap! OHs dad is fixing it for us and it should be relatively cheap.

I live 5 mins from the New Forest so can look into some sites for you - there is one just up the road from me - close to a pub!! Let me know what sort of thing you want and I'll look into it for you x
