heylo everyone, hope today is a good day for you.
I have spent £2.82 today on tomato sauce, a bag of crisps and some chilli chicken for my salad so not too bad, could probably have done with out the chicken but i forgot my sweet chilli sauce for my wraps and it was too dry without it.
Have the weekend off so I really want to declutter my house after christmas and maybe take my son to Glasgow to see a movie or something.
I hate the thought of spending a tenner on petrol and nigh on £20 ON A movie, plus we would have to pay for lunch up there too.

Pftt you could buy the dvd for that and I dont even really want to see New years eve,

Hi
You are worth so much more. You do not need people to treat you like that. Be thankful that you and your son got home safely. If you felt apologising was the right thing to do - then good on you. Lay the incident and the relationship to rest and move on. The "other" friend has other issues if she feels she can't speak to you if you no longer want friend number 1 in your life. This is spiteful school girl politics.
Wish them all well in your heart and then get on with the things you need to do.

Sassysuccess, you put it so well.

Maybe regarding the friend you want to keep, if you said to her 'Look, I'm not going to see so much of X and I don't want to stir things up so I'd rather not talk about it, but I'd really miss you if I never saw you. Just wondered if you'd like to meet for a drink sometime?'... or something like that?
By the way - I've edited an earlier post - I just noticed I'd put exactly the opposite of what I wanted to say! Sorry.
I work nights too - hence the odd times I'm around and not around.Miggy

hi everybody.
spent a bit of money today but not as much as i usually would.
Heres todays spends.
£1.99 Michael Mcintyre dvd from charity shop which we are watching right now, hilarious.
£0.99 dvd of Black SwAN, thats for later when the boy's in bed
£2.71 ingredients for Chilli con carne,
thats for dinner and we're having that and waffles with ice cream and banana for pudding. Yassssss
I did buy some stuff from superdrug, oops But chide me as you will, I havent bought make up for so long.
I bought maybelline foundation and mascara reduced to £4.99 each and collection 2000 blusher at £2.99, then some Clearasil for my spotty son :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
On the plus side, I was asked out by a vampire last night.
Are you confused?
As i work in a pub, we have had a laugh with some regulars for the past few months that another group of regulars are of Twilight origin, I would like to join and be his Bella.
POints to consider are that
a) They are always together as a family (CULLENS)
b) You can never hear them walk (that's because the music is on)
c) They always have loads of money (is this not because Alice could see into the future of the stockmarket and not because the father one in my pub is a compulsive gambler) hahah
d) We used to have a mirror behind where i am, did they request it moved from where they always stand?
e) they always stand at the back of the pub and i always wear a gothic cross however the week I am off, they sit right at the front
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I hope you understand my sense of humour, but it makes me laugh picturing them as The cullens, So i got up the guts to tell him this and he asks me out

Your spends today sound reasonable
I also rarely buy make-up so a treat every now and then is not to be chided
Congratulations on being asked out, I love your sense of humour about him being a vamp haha.
Spotty son - tell him to drink lots of water and less sugary drinks, also try to get him to stop touching his face when he's bored in class. I had bad spots when I was a teenager and if I don't drink enough water still (now 25) I get outbreaks. It might help him
Mmm chilli sounds yummy! I was thinking of you earlier and have just found an awesome Nigella homemade chips recipe that is currently in the oven. Not sure why it made me think of you, did you mention chip shop chips the other day? Anyway, here it is and only needs 1 potato per person, could always go with left over chilli
