Your spends today sound reasonable :) I also rarely buy make-up so a treat every now and then is not to be chided :)

Congratulations on being asked out, I love your sense of humour about him being a vamp haha.

Spotty son - tell him to drink lots of water and less sugary drinks, also try to get him to stop touching his face when he's bored in class. I had bad spots when I was a teenager and if I don't drink enough water still (now 25) I get outbreaks. It might help him :)

Mmm chilli sounds yummy! I was thinking of you earlier and have just found an awesome Nigella homemade chips recipe that is currently in the oven. Not sure why it made me think of you, did you mention chip shop chips the other day? Anyway, here it is and only needs 1 potato per person, could always go with left over chilli :)Nigella home made oven chips

Could result in free dinner though ;) and if you don't like him after the first date then you don't have to marry him :p

  • hahaha do you not have to marry them because threy buy you dinner??
Thats where ive been going wrong. I knew it was too much me turning up at wetherspoons in my wedding dress.

Im kidding on about the remainder cash that I don't have it, will probably pay it to Vanquis. Man I hate vanquis, wish i'd left it in the freezer where it belongs.
I don't even know what ive spent it on
    Do you meal plan Kerry?

I will keep a look out for you when I'm next in Wetherspoons (or Whitby for that matter)! Not sure how I'll recognise you though.

You do meet some interesting people, LOL. And I had never thought of dinner as a long-term commitment... I can see I am going to have to be very careful what invitations I accept!

The makeup sounds great, just enjoy it. :) Always nice to get something like that and I'm the same: don't treat myself often. I did get a Boots token for Christmas though so perhaps I will. :)

And here's something for you to wear for the date!

  • hello everyone, hope everyone had a great weekend,
I spent most of mine with my mum, didnt spend any money over the weekend apart from the make up on saturday and also had dinner there too.

Am stuck at the moment without heating, waiting for the engineer to come so am freezing. Hopefully not too much later.
finished work early and did all me housework and had some pasta today.

Have discovered I have some extra cash from some uncollected wages so have an extra £200. Just sticking this in my savings account, i am using my Capital One credit card for everything and this weekend, I have just been replacing my money ive spent on it straight away from my bank account.

This is helping me budget a bit better, mainly because Halifax debit card payments were taking a few days to come out and were easy to forget so at least Im keeping a better track of things.

Today was weigh in day and have only lost and extra pound, not much for a week but well on track for my 10 pounds in January.

Update on my vampire, He's either a slow starter or very shy haha because he added me on facebook about half 12 last night but havent heard from him otherwise.
IS this odd? i gave him my number assuming he would text but he just added me???

THings were a lot easier when they had to just call your parents house to speak to you.
Does this strike you as odd?? is he interested or not??:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'd give him a bit longer - perhaps he's been at work or something. :)

Yay to £200! What a nice surprise.

  • slightly obsessed with debt busting tonight, went a bit mental and spent every spare penny i have on paying them off.

    Have paid off the following

    £206.56 to littlewoods
    £10 to aqua
    £53.44 to vanquis
    £49.50 capital one classic
    £43 to capital one progress.

Now was contemplating blowing my overdraft paying vanquis but i spent so long paying that off, and i hated every minute of paying halifax the £1 for the privilege so will instead pay £10 per day to Vanquis until its cleared.

HOw is everyone tonjght? any gossip
So happy that Shameless is back, even if its not as good as the first series
