Car wouldn't start this am. I waited a while and did as Manuel said and managed it in the end. Phew. I used my waiting time to put extra cereal bars, water, and a wind up lantern and the Lush Times in my car's GOOD bag (Get Out Of Dodge aka Bug Out Bag for those interested in survival skills!).
Oh Yes!!! now thats what I call planning :T:T:T I do love the Lush Times! Esp now that you can get the Retro Stuff online... Gentle Lentil Shampoo ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I love you!
Make sure your phone is charged and you can order online!!!

I can report that it was very chilly in my loft today when I was up there looking for the Christmas decs. Seems that the insulation is doing it's job:D It occured to me that a little trick I use for identifying the Christmas decs might be useful to some of you... I always tie up the bin bags with tinsel or Christmas ribbbon of some kind so that they can be spotted easily, boxes have Christmas labels or tags attached. Hope it helps someone.:)
Rainydays, it was icy in parts of Hexham (Northumberland) yesterday when I was there and I could see snow on the hills...The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful forum. I'm very grateful for the guidance and friendliness that I always receive from you.

Please and Thank You are the magic words;)0 -
I've got a very poorly daughter tonight who threw up literally ALL over the bathroom  Up the walls, floor and in the bin, which is what she was aiming for, bless her!
Thank goodness I have a stash of anti sickness/diaroehha (can anybody spell that?!!!) meds brought back from Egypt - the likes of which you cannot get here - so am reasonably safe in the knowledge that, even tho she is in my bed, she will not puke again
Poor love is dosed up with cough meds too and is really suffering.... Why oh Why do my kids only ever get sick when I am working full time - which is only about 4 times a year!!! Its a conspiricay I tell ya!
Destined to be broke as I am self employed.... DD1 will be taken to school by a friend, DD2 will come to work with me for a few hours when I am really needed and I will take the rest of the day off..... unpaid
Kids hey! Well, I can't complain... 2 lovely IVF girlies who I thought I would never have are worth missing work for, any day!!!!! (altho if they could choose the other 48 weeks when I work PT, not FT, that would be helpful :rotfl: )
Must stock up on Nighttime cough meds, and book another trip to Egypt to stock up on the awesome anti [STRIKE]sickness/diorreah[/STRIKE] (!!!!!!) meds!!!

Just think of going back to Egypt one day - lucky you I have a degree in Egyptology and Nr Easter Archaeology and never been to Egypt or anywhere around there......only thing I got was a Roman dig on Merseyside ( I hate the Romans, blinking copycats) and Neanderthal dig in Cheshire neither anything to do with what I was learning.

Its all a bit dodgy out there but Sharm is so far away from Cairo, and the other problems, plus its tourist oriented, plus knowing as I do the checkpoints there, its probably safer than London IMHO... I know I have always felt safer there than anywhere else in the world.
Can't wait to go back :smileyhea0 -
Oooooh I love archeology. But I like the Romans - wish they had been busier up here.0
