DD and I discovered where a mighty draft was coming from. It was from the cupboard that houses the combi. There was a hole at the back in the ceiling. So thats been sealed up and other drafty spots done too.

Thanks for the Metcheck link Mardatha. Looks like we have severe gales (more!) and snow to look forward to.
Is anyone else tired of uprighting their wheelie bins? We have a collection of three which seem incapable of standing up as soon as it gets the least bit windy. Mail shots of pizza leaflets, curry houses etc festoon our front street as I speak...:(

Same here ..... we have the most stupid recycling boxes that blow in the slightest wind - and it always (I'm sure on purpose) is really windy the night before collection.

Can already hear them blowing around outside .... street will be like a rubbish tip in the morning :(

:eek:Oh myyyyyy, I hadn't even thought of that!

I have an emergency evacuation plan in place (live near a nuclear power plant and you just never really know - OK so it's pretty safe but I worry about everything and feel better if I have lists:o) and have recently realised the cats carriers are in the loft and the ladders are in the garage .... not ideal and still working on a solution!
