Fierce, fierce wind here - noise is deafening. Bins emptied this morning and now blowing all over the place. I've tied my 3 bins together - we have one for rubbish, another for compost and another for paper - tied now with one of those elastic things with a hook at each end.Treat the Earth well,It was not given to you by your parents,It was loaned to you by your children.Masai proverb0

Where are you beanrua? Its getting really windy here with big gusts and its not supposed to peak here until 3pm. Its very very dark still, need lights on to see to read or cook. Torrential rain and reminds me of all the hurricanes I used to watch on Fox News lol!
They are saying minimum windspeeds 80 with gusts to 100mph. SO dark its weird.0 -
Quite calm here in Worcestershire (so far) and fairly mild. We're due to get hit about lunchtime I think.
Lots of hugs and good wishes to those in the North, must be very worrying for you.
Spoke to DS1 in Liverpool yesterday. He has a new girlfriend (he's 46 and divorced). She's "26, heavily tattooed with some piercings and is Slovakian".
