Abortion/termination advice *UPDATE - SENSITIVE*

Following on from my previous thread I wanted to update those of you who took the time to offer your support and kind wishes both on the thread and via private messages.
I have heard back from my Doctor and I am booked in to see them tomorrow afternoon when I will be having the pill opposed to the surgical termination. I will then return to the hospital on friday. I am apprehensive at facing the pill route as I believe this will be a bit more traumatic than the surgical but I have been told its standard procedure at this point in pregnancy (14 weeks)
Many thanks to those of you who offered your experiences, my previous thread was deleted presumably due to forum members reporting posts. Whilst I understand the topic may be upsetting to some its been a great support for me to come here and 'talk' to those who understand so i politely request that the thread topic (and forum rules) is respected.

For the record, posts aren't deleted just because they were reported, they're deleted because it was decided they were against the rules in some way. Don't blame the reporters!
Best of luck to you with everything, I believe its a rubbish couple of days but easier on your body overall.0 -
Will be thinking of you tomorrow. Give yourself time and space to recover and don't be too hard on yourself.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

the entire thread was deleted, so there would have had to have been a lot of reports for this to happen ! ive checked the rules and none of my posts were against forum rules so I presume they had received so many reports it was easier to just get rid of the entire thread than deal with each one.
i am aware you reported posts, i respect your reasons for doing so and I am not 'blaming' you at all, I do believe however someone had rather maliciously done it on purpose - it was to that individual my comments were made.0 -
I'm glad you got some good out of the other thread GW, I hope you feel ok and prepared - are you taking someone with you for support? once again I wish you well x0

My husband will be with me throughout, I think that will be harder on him than me !

I think giving medical advice on here is against the rules or discouraged so your previous post might have been seen as asking for or receiving that, don't worry it's not personal. I hope things work out as well as can be expected.0

Hope you and hubby get through the next few days ok, I know it hasn't been an easy time for you either of you.
Thanks for the update, will be thinking of you xx"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0 -
I would research medical termination at or after 14 weeks before going ahead with this. I dont want to scare you or anything - but, you really need to know whats involved. I know this hasnt been easy for you - I dont understand why the doctors think a medical termination is right for you unless surgery is extremely risky for you.
Good luck - I wish you well whatever happens!0
