Hi all,
So the minumum payment on the Post Office credit card is more than what I estimated it at so I have done some juggling to try and be able to afford this month, just means buying more presents from next payday and being a bit short there. Ah well, if I make any savings on this social budget I have then I will buy presents with that to make it easier.
So this month I am paying off £581.63 which is more than the budgeted £550.00 this is pre interest but I dont anticipate that to be much as Ive paid off most of the Halifax card which I was being charged interest on.
Had a lovely dinner last night, thai style mussels which were lovely and really nice to see my friend.
It's army boys birthday today so going to try and skype him later.Santander 0% £1,529.94

Urgh so todays NSD was ruined.
I owed the post room £2 from posting a book I sold on amazon, and I went 90p over my allowance in the canteen so I had to pay that back. Then I went to buy some soup for tea as I had already spent. Then I realised Id lost a fiver. It was folded up with my tenner and when I went to pay for my soup it wasn't there. So then I had to break into the tenner, ah well
Army boy is doing my head in! He was asking me again today what I saw him as - even though we've already spoken about it - so we had another chat where one minute he was backtracking but then ended by saying he was glad we both wanted the same thing?!?! Ah well, when he gets back it will all become clear!Santander 0% £1,529.94

OK so 4 months. A long time but not as long as I thought. I suppose most of us can't even begin to imagine what its like over there and this must effect different people in different ways, maybe this sort of back-and-forth thinking is a manifestation of that. Agree it'll be good once he's home for the R&R break, and then even better the trip after that!December 2005 TOTAL DEBT at its worst - [STRIKE]£20,596[/STRIKE]

You always talk sense!
My friend just text me, the table he bought at the racehorse owners association dinner has a spare place, so I've dug out my black tie dress and that's where I'm going tomorrow night! Random but sounds like fun! It's all been paid for so will be low spendSantander 0% £1,529.94

Nice one! Get the mileage from the dress and do lots of free evenings out like this and it won't feel so much like you are living on such a tight budget!
I've got another one of those market research interviews tomorrow night, nice little £45 towards the ISA!December 2005 TOTAL DEBT at its worst - [STRIKE]£20,596[/STRIKE]

Oh just realised its a dinner for Racehorse owners? In my experience they are usually loaded and flash their cash all over the place! Don't kick on to a club whatever you do! (and if you do, make sure you find a cute one to pay for you

Hello LondonGirl,
It sounds to me like army boy is a little insecure and asks that question of "what am I to you" for the reassurance of it. The fact that he backtracks before getting on board again says to me there are things he needs to hear from you so he pulls away so you can tell him he's great and you really like him and then he's reassured and comfortable. Also, it sounds like he really likes you and values your friendship so that may be a small worry for him that he risks losing that. The best thing you can do is just be consistent (which soundsl like you always are based on how your diary reads). I find that works every time.
But I'm a Committed Singleton so what do I know?0
