Hi, I hope you don't mind me jumping in,been reading your diary and its great, you're doing fantastically living on £10 a day aswell as still having a social life. I am really bad with money and in a bit of debt aswell. Trying to clear it but its hard saying no when asked to go out.

Ive not even been paid yet but when i do I only have £10 a day to spend, hoping not to spend all of that though so i can pay extra off the cc. Anyways I'm rambling. Just wanted to say hi and to let you know i will be following this thread!

    Well done LondonGirl xxx

    Hi!

Not at all thanks for reading and posting :) the social side is proving to be the biggest challenge but where there's a will there's a way and I'm getting there!!

    good luck with it all!

    Thanks! xxx

  • Argh just wrote a nice long post and it got deleted!

Hope you’re all having a good day!

Didn’t get the NSD yesterday as I ran out of my fizzy morning vitamins so I got them on 3 for 2, still only spent £9.98 so within my daily budget!

I also spent the last £20 of my Grandmas xmas present money. I have completely run out of make up (and boy do I need it! HA) so treated myself to a new one and the girl saw me looking through them and tested them all on me which was nice. Then I got my usual hair dye so I’m now ready for the party season! Normally Id have spent that money about 3 times over but Im quite proud I kept it aside and only spent the £50 she spent and I think I got quite a lot for it too!

Off to my friends for dinner tonight, he has changed the menu to thai style mussels which will be interesting! I have a nice bottle of red to take for him which cost me nothing as it was left over from my Sunday lunch at the weekend which my friend brought for me. He doesn’t want me until 8 so Im going to make use of the gym membership before it expires in a last desperate attempt to get fit before army boy comes home!! Haha

So fingers crossed It’ll be a NSD today!

    Have a goodun all!

  • How freaky! I had JUST popped one of those 3for2 fizzy vitamins into a glass and clicked on your thread while I waited for it to dissolve, and the first thing I read was about said fizzy vitamins (I have mine at lunch though). Sorry, I know this is random but such a coincidence I had to comment on it!

  • I know exactly what you mean - was the other flavour 'tropical'? The guy next to me at work has tropical and they are gross. I'm an 'orange' man too. We argue about it constantly :)

And just to let you all know finally I'm doing my 'word 2003' (sounds fossilized doesn't it) test on my ECDL on the 10th

It's so foreign being so old it's really weird as I don't have anything like 2003 on my mac but gotta start somewhere LOL

So panic mode studying right now...gotta learn the stuff...never mind my touch typing tutor which today was pants :( (maybe due to the bug) - even 0 points (that means pants) on lesson one never mind the 'r' and 'n' lesson or even 't' and 'i'...

PS. after half freezing myself to death this pm - I've realised I'm £160 in credit (payment with payment card and credit from 3rd quarter bill) and I paid £50 today so like the bill to date is only £150 for electric for the quarter so I can afford to have the heater on :j....to me this is a luxury this evening :j
