Hey guys,
Thanks for your lovely messages, they cheered me upYou're totally right it just wasn't the right thing and the right thing WILL come along!
Actually today has been surprising, my phone hasn't stopped ringing! The recruiters must all be back off hols. I spoke to one guy last night about a great role in a charity, would be a much better work life balance (thats how they make up for not being able to afford city salaries) so he sent my CV to them. And I have spoken to a couple of recruiters today who think I'm suitable for roles they're working on. 2 roles were good although possibly a bit advance and one is for an even small company than I'm in now which I want to avoid. So we'll see, it is nice to be contacted though as it means there is stuff out there!!!
Thanks so much for the bookclub recommendation Lulabelle that is SO up my street, I will check it out tonight for sure!
My trains were all cancelled/delayed tonight (again!) so I had to go out of the other station which is further from home but is OK as M can still pick me up. Bless him, he is cooking dinner for me now while I finish off some work and write to you guys. He is such a good un I'm so lucky!
Working from home tomorrow WOO HOO!!!!!!!
I am excited for the weekend, my stables is putting on a riding competition - a friendly one! There is dressage and show jumping and I have entered the 2ft 6 show jumping class on my fave horse! Hoping we get to have some fun even if we don't bring home a rosette! Only £15 to enter too, I like my stables as its sort of ran as a charity as it's an army reservist thingy so they just need to make sure they cover their costs so they don't charge through the earth like most riding places would (and do!)!
Lots a love

Oh I forgot to say! I got an apology from the Sales Director after our tiff last week. I think he knew when we were both back at work yesterday that I was still upset with him so he suggested going for a coffee and apologised for the way the email was sent and that he let his stress influence his words. I forgave him and thanked him for apologising and we're good so that is one less stress at work! I do like him so i am pleased we were able to put it behind us XXSantander 0% £1,529.94

I'm sorry too about the other position LG. There's a whole world out there though so you'll find something better before long.
In the meantime though, make sure that manager doesn't kill you :rotfl:0 -

Very quick update while I take lunch!!!
I am heading off to a recruiter meeting in a mo, he called yesterday with a role about a 35min drive from home for a large restaurant chain (one I really like actually!) he sent over my CV and they gave good feedback and asked to see me, so I am going in for an interview with them tomorrow! Their head office is East London though so I need to make sure I check there is no plans to move this role to their main head office!
May I ask for you all to cross your fingers once again for me please! I feel quite well prepped already as I had interview practise last week and I brushed up on the technical side last night so hopefully that will show through tomorrow!
Went for a run last night as I was WFH, it was lovely evening sun, hundreds of deer around the park. bliss! Managed 5k (walked a bit) my PF is playing up again today though, it's so frustrating!!!

Crossing fingers for you! Great news the right role is out there.
Well done on the running - PF is very frustrating so don't push yourself.

Oh I love those deer. I often accidentally sing to them when I have my earphones in and the music is loud in my ears. I get a little carried away and find myself singing out loud  Such a beautiful area. We are neighbours. I walk there every day I'm off work (takes so bloomin long to get to the horse and back that I can only manage it on days off! Maybe I should learn to run so I can get there and back quicker!! Lol, if you see a sweaty, out of breath girl struggling to run for more than a minute, come and say Hi :rotfl:
How fantastic about your new interview. I imagine you're a recruitment agent's dream - very easy to sell! Something amazing is about to happen. So much has happened already since you started your diary (I'm a lurker rather than a poster. I still remember you finding spiders when cleaning your room...way back in another life!) and it's so lovely to see you moving through the chapters.
I can't wait to hear how this interview goes (*looks for a fingers crossed emoji....)0 -

Thanks Brightspark
It is so frustrating, you're right though the key is to take it slow! I often walk/run as that seems to work for me xxSantander 0% £1,529.94

Hiya!
Hahaha that's so funny! Great that we're neighbours. we are so lucky to live in that area it really is beautiful! Do you have your own horse? That is awesome, I am hoping to start hacking in the park this summer, need to be brave about going out on my own!!
Haha thank you that is so nice, I like the idea of this being a new chapter that is a great way to look at it. Interview update on way....
