Am very sorry to have been AWOL (have been in that tunnel they call waking nights at work :D - emerge the other end not sure what day it is or whether the world's still turning!) and I missed your exam. :( It really sounds as though you got your teeth into it though. And a potential pay increase, a really big one! Wow! That should help a bit if things feel tight this month.

Can't imagine a pay increase of £15K... never had £15pa at all let alone an increase. :D I'm delighted you're so close to paying everything off. Not that 44% isn't a great achievement, because it is. In fact, both that and finishing your exam are a tribute to your abilities... in short, you deserve it. :)

Hope you find the right FM. It's sad you will be losing your current one, but there are bound to be other nice people out there!

    Hey!

Hope you're doing OK after those waking nights, boo to that!

Thanks, I feel OK about it and the pay increase made my eye pop out my head, I hope that it all goes through OK and I'm not just getting my hopes up! It would be amazing to be able to pay more off but it could be a few months yet before it all goes through.

Hope so! Hoping it works out, we may find someone really nice, and if not... well hopefully I can move on soon anyway!

Hope everything else well with you

  • I had another bit of good news today

CIMA emailed me and have assessed my professional experience application... and accepted! Which means that if I pass my exam I will be accepted as a member :D delighted!

Right, off to go and brutally worked out by this free personal trainer! I need him to go easy, still struggling to walk from riding this weekend!

    Thanks :)

Well, the personal trainer stood me up! I asked one of the other guys who told me he'd gone home!!! I don't think I looked very impressed as he apologised and scuttled off. Hmph

Anyway, i used to be professional gym-goer before I moved to London so I devised my own workout and feeling the effects this am so it must have worked!

hehe ;) I look forward to those suggestions as soon as I've hit my DFD!

No more spends yesterday and don't plan to spend anything today as I have another chicken breast in the fridge and veg in the freezer.

Busy day at work again, my trainee was off ill yesterday and still got lots of catching up to do from when I was off. Though it is so nice to know I have my evenings back to myself and I have started reading books I like rather than textbooks on the tube in the morning, such small things but they make me :D

A friend emailed me yesterday, her hubby is a personal trainer and is started a new yoga/pilates class. He is asking me and some friends to go for free tomorrow night to a) try it out and b) make sure its a full class as he has someone coming to write a report on it for a paper. I'm incredibly unbendy but a free class sounds good so Im taking 2 work friends

Shame about the missing trainer! So you will be spending your wealth on one of your very own? :) Good for you for doing a good work out regardless... and the freebie class for tonight is good too. :)

I'm glad you mentioned something nice to read. I have the last half of the last of the 'Twilight' books to finish and I need to put it in my bag for work. Great way to keep myself awake through the night! :D

I hope you get caught up at work today.

I'm just wondering if it was wise to put the recycling bag (it was wooden handles) in the washing machine. It's not sounding healthy..

Cograts on the final exam and the CIMA membership.

I hope you manage to find a new flatmate - it is a pity that your current one has ants in her pants about the rugby player though, I don't think that the house will be party house because some rugby players are quiet and tend to leave their partying until after matches. I think she is getting her knickers in a knot over nothing.

Things are picking up for me now - these anti-D's seem to be working:j I still have tons to do with this house and I have been given a project by mum this week, I must sort out my old clothes and ring the cash for clothes peeps to ask for a bag and for them to collect - I should get £18 per bag. I must admit that I havent tackled the project yet, I spent Monday in the garden and spent a good 2hours clearing out my shed - the spider webs in there were like something out of the hammer house of horror:eek: Still it is tidy now and all my camping stuff has been packed into a large box and I have room to move about.

Well, it seems so! There are a few friends who have been amazing helping me out with money, one in particular at work who on the nights out I have been on has always beaten me to the bar cos he knows I can't afford it so I definitley plan to repay by taking him out for dinner or drinks or something. He told me he'd been in the same mess with debt about 5 years ago and knew how it felt to not be able to afford to go out.

Maybe now Im not studying I'll find the time to meet a man - who knows! (hopefully not a married one this time!)

I LOVED the Twilight books! Enjoy. I am reading "Shadow in the Wind" thats also very good.

Thanks - had a good day, just got home and going to do a couple of hours from the couch!
