I'm just wondering if it was wise to put the recycling bag (it was wooden handles) in the washing machine. It's not sounding healthy..

I hope you manage to find a new flatmate - it is a pity that your current one has ants in her pants about the rugby player though, I don't think that the house will be party house because some rugby players are quiet and tend to leave their partying until after matches. I think she is getting her knickers in a knot over nothing.

Things are picking up for me now - these anti-D's seem to be working:j I still have tons to do with this house and I have been given a project by mum this week, I must sort out my old clothes and ring the cash for clothes peeps to ask for a bag and for them to collect - I should get £18 per bag. I must admit that I havent tackled the project yet, I spent Monday in the garden and spent a good 2hours clearing out my shed - the spider webs in there were like something out of the hammer house of horror:eek: Still it is tidy now and all my camping stuff has been packed into a large box and I have room to move about.

    Thanks Horace :D

I completely agree, P who is moving out plays for the same rugby club and we know them well, they're a brilliant bunch and not at all rowdy! I hope when she meets him she changes her mind!

So pleased to hear that, really pleased it's all coming together for you. Good luck with all the sorting out!

Hope the SF furry case has faired better this am. spent wednesday night up with SF cos he had a tumour on his nerve. took him to PDSA And they were awful and said he just had tissue damage and that he'd be ok. No pain relief :(...so took him to another vet yesterday (paid £20 all in). He was anxious though so peed and pooped all over the case yesterday. So I put it in the washer this am :) It's all on my blog. Feel better now. But taking it easy for a few days. No diet. No fly lady.Nothing....

SF got put to sleep yesterday :(...poor boy...

  • Hi all,

Well, got month end sorted at work and my manager let me lead the meeting reporting our results to management and that went well so I am :) Off to the pub at 5 just for one drink, my friend wanted to celebrate exam being done and I'm going to buy him one back if I get a payrise! lol

Had a lovely ride in a very sunny park this morning, the park is so much nicer now all the Olympic gear is starting to be taken down and we can actually use most of the normal horse tracks!

Hopefully going again tomorrow am, just waiting to be told there is a steed for me to ride. After that I plan to run home, snooze, then meet a friend locally who is back in the UK for two weeks having moved to NZ.

Sunday, I am going to give my room a ruddy good clean! I want to get rid of anything that I won't move with me when I eventually manage to get a new place so that packing will be easy

Next week at work should be a bit calmer, I have had to pack up my desk just now as facilities are coming to rotate it over the weekend. It currently faces out of the window, which is lovely as I have views of Canary Whary, O2 centre and the Olympic Park (I'm 10 floors up) however, the sun in the mornings is straight at me and its unbearable now so they're swinging my desk round so I face inwards and can spy on everyone!

Have a wonderful weekend all, my budget for the weekend is £15, will let you know how I get on

  • Morning team,

Been a productive morning, did my online banking and have tidied my room - I decided the weather is far too nice to give it a full on gutting today. That can wait until next weekend.

Spent yesterday morning at the stables, had 2 horses to ride - one I like and one I hadn't ridden before but that I also now like a lot! It's so nice to be back there and see everyone and spend time with the horses. I've missed it a lot, the weather was beautiful to ride round the park and chatter with my riding friends.

Spent the afternoon in my friends garden the 5 of us worked our way through a fair bit of wine with the men looking after the kids, having some seriously girly chat and catching up, went to the local pub to meet some of the others and it ended with all of us dancing on a very large table at the back of the pub - its a very laid back pub! Very funny! Spent £20 in total so also reasonably within budget!

Off to go and catch some rays, have slapped on the factor 15 no burning for me!

Hope you're all enjoying this gorgeous weather!

It was so much fun! So good to let my hair down and boogie!

Had a lovely day today, I went to the big supermarket and got some bargains, there was a pack of 3 large chicken breasts for a fiver and I got them home and chopped them in half and froze individually as half of one is enough for a meal for me.

Had a nice day in the sun and chilling out, just had supper with my flatmates and I'm now going to the O2 website to use the £10 e-voucher I have for when the network was broken in May - that voucher needs to be used this month if any of you were also with O2.

Work tomorrow, after work I am going to my friend S's house and I'm going to cut her hair, she's buying and cooking dinner in return which will be nice

  • Morning Team!

Quick update before I have to go into a meeting with internal audit - that can only mean more work for me YUK

Had an email from my old boxing coach (I used to box about 3 and a half years ago with my boyfriend at the time, when we broke up I stopped going) encouraging people to come back as numbers had dwindled and offered September free to get back into it. So went back last night, blimey, I had forgotten how hard core it was! I was shaking by the end of the class and had to sit down before I could get in the shower! There's no going easy and if one person fails a task the whole class has to do 20 push ups (man ones). My arms today are like jelly!

Enjoyed it though and have booked out my Tuesday and Thursday nights through September to make use of the free month and will then think about signing up and cancelling the gym - I'm more likely to keep up the boxing than the gym.

Still skint but haven't over spent anymore so keeping up with my budget till payday then I can plan better for next month.

Results come out a week tomorrow! EEK!
