  • Hi LG,

    Although I genuinely don't believe you need it, I'll be sending good luck thoughts and wishes for your Grand Email Opening. This time tomorrow all that anxiety will be over and you should have that very much deserved pass mark.

    Good luck this morning LG. All happy and successful thoughts being thrown your way!
  • Really quick update as I need to try and do some work!

    I DID IT!

    I am a fully qualified accountant!

    It feels so good to be able to write that!

    Been such a drama this morning to find out, the email never arrived so I had to wait until I got to work to log onto the CIMA website, I was shaking and as soon as I saw the result I burst into tears!

    Thanks so much for keeping me going through all the studying, the messages of support really did make all the difference when I was fed up and ready to pack it in!

  • Not sure if I've posted on your thread before but I've been reading for a while and really really hoping you would get the result you needed :) I remember going into Uni last year to pick up my results (an 8 mile trip) to find out I was a day early and I broke down in tears crying and shaking as the last day to book graduation tickets and gown hire was that day. Thankfully a kind lady found my result out for me and told me which prompted more tears and shaking. Being able to call my parents and tell them I'd passed was the biggest relief of all as I hadn't told them when results were due.

    Still now thinking about it brings about feelings of terror (not as much as when I woke up an hour before an exam and had to physically run the entire way to the bus almost throwing up, this was the main reason I thought I'd failed my degree).

    So well done :) I hope you go out and celebrate, MSE style of course.

  • Hey LongdonGirl,

    :beer::j:TMassive congratulations!!!:T:j:beer:

    You have done so well and can now really enjoy the rewards from working so hard, plus the benefits that come with being a fully qualified accountant both financially and for career progression.

    (I have been following your diary but haven't had a chance to post for a long while but couldn't miss this opportunity to send my congratulations.)

    I hope you have some plans to celebrate properly tonight!
