Liver is yum
...and good for you and cheap. It's what my Ma lived on back in the day when she first left home
Yeah I'm like that too about ebay. I mean not least some kitchen stuff of mine which has like the odd carpet beetle in it.. would rather give to a charity shop personally even though it's worth about £50 ...or some nice young Ma at church who might need it :T...
Anyhow catch up laters. Don't forget x factor tonight LG and C has ice cream on offer and like Mr S has crisps on offer
E
You're doing a good job at persuading me, one day I will try it!
That's a nice thought, I will try to make charity shop trip after my exam

Another productive days study under the belt.
Completed a mock, if I had read that exam two weeks ago I guarantee you I would have failed it. Although it wasn't easy I did manage to get the issues in the right order and wasn't far off with my arguement and calcs also not too far off.
So I'm pleased with that, then we spent a couple of hours going over strategy theorists which was good.
Spending the night with my feet up and polishing left over wine from last night!
Just booked train tickets to go home next weekend which has the added benefit of giving me a reason not to go on that expensive night out and I feel good I'm going to see my Gran soon. I have £20 left over from last month that Im going to use to have a riding lesson at my yard back home which will be £22
Just sat and made all my payments to credit cards for the month bar the one on DD and sent Mum and Dad £100. Ive put another £60 in the bills account which takes that to £120 which is a nice emergency pot to have and another £30 to my Christmas savings which takes that to £70, I'm even going to admit to writing my xmas budget and expect to spend £110 on presents this year so not far off that either
So actually, although the debt busting has slowed down I feel overall better as I have xmas budget and bills budget under control.
Taking into account the money I spent on the C Card and didnt pay back last month I paid off just £172.81.
This month budgeted to pay off £360.79
These include money back to Mum and Dad
Here's a debt summary:
Halifax Credit card: Last month £133 Now £103
NW Credit Card: Last month £250.98 Now £225.98
PO Credit Card: Last month £3192.22 Now £3,111.22
NW Loan: Last month £4,086.81 Now £3,982.02
Mum and Dad: Last month £869.99 Now £769.99
Going to keep paying Mum and Dad £100 a month
Going to get Halifax paid off next month
Then Nationwide the month after
Then back to the plan of PO credit Card then NW Loan
BOOM
Only a couple of months away from being halfway there!Santander 0% £1,529.94

PS Not including Mum and Dads debt in my total as the majority of it is for next years holiday
I dont think Ive told you about that!
I'm going on holibobs! It will be 3 years since Ive been away!
My Mum and Dad are extending their house next year, as they still have my niece and her mum and her dad (my bro) living with them, we thought itd be a good idea to take my nice on a girls holiday.
So, me, my mum, my niece, nieces mum and nieces other Gran are going to Ibiza next May! To a quiet area on the coast. So I've already added to cost of the holiday to what I owe Mum and Dad even though its not paid yet so that Im in effect saving up for it but through Mum and Dad so that I cant spend it!
Its all inclusive so wont be spending much while Im there
Within 5 minutes of booking I found a lovely riding stables on the island, it costs €120 for a whole days riding round the island with a guide who will take me riding at my level, so going to save up for that and spend a day on horseback!
Exciting!Santander 0% £1,529.94

That sounds fab!! I was referring specifically to Ibiza, but everything else in your post is fab as well
You sound like you've been through the mill with these exams and it's all coming together at just the right time - I reckon you'll peak on exam day
You've been really disciplined with your study and also on the money front too! Debt going down by £172 on a month like you've just had is amazing :A
I did the unthinkable and spent on my credit card this month  I've not done that since I started debt-busting over a year ago! There was method in the madness though. I've worked out it'll take about 2 years to clear my debts and I currently live in a teeny tiny rented flat with just mismatched furniture and no telly. If I stay here for the next 2 years, the debt will be gone then I can afford to move. I decided to splash out on a sofa (as it was in the sale) to make the flat a nicer place to live...it also means I can take it with me when I move so it's not a complete waste of money. I'll be able to pay it off by next month as I've been hammering ebay recently, selling everything that isn't nailed down! i hope my landlady's not offended that I don't want her furniture anymore
Your trip back home sounds great - a well deserved treat after your months of hard work!
As for your holiday to Ibiza, there are certain things worth investing in and I believe that spending time with family is one of themIt'll be fantastic...look out for the hangovers though if it's all inclusive
:D

Hi Susie Sue!
Thank you I hope so! We're doing half a day in college today so that we don't overdo it and on Tuesday I'm going to take it more chilled so I'm fresh for Weds
Ah I think that is the sort of thing tha credit cards are for, its something you'll have with you a long time and the cost of the sofa is so much more than moving. Make your home comfortable is important! At least with everyone on here keeping us in check you will be disciplined in paying it off!
She will be 2 in October and is such a character! Each time I go home she has changed so it will be so nice to have a whole week to bond with her properly, thats a definite down side to living away!
Haha definitley! At least I can sleep it off by the pool!Santander 0% £1,529.94

Quick update while I wait for studdy buddy!
Got my marked exam back that I did on Friday - with the terrorists.
87% !!!!!!!!!! Holy Cow! When I opened the email and saw that I was amazed, that would be the kind of score I only ever dream of, the highest I've ever had in any exam Ive sat, real or mock is 66% SUCH a shame it wasn't the real thing!!!!
Today's plan is to do one mock then call it a day, that will still take 4/5 hours to do and review, tonight my FM and his GF are cooking at home and I think theyre making steak mmm yum!!!Santander 0% £1,529.94

So today and yesterday progress has slowed.
Yesterday, got to college and B came and he didn't want to do the mock as planned and just wanted to do 2 hours, so we did have a productive 2 hours but then the rest of the rest of the day was a write off as I went to be a shoulder to cry on for a friend who's relationship broke up
This morning I had to cancel study plans with B as I was so unwell, took the morning off work to stay in bed then have worked on and off up until now. Don't feel like I made as much progress as I could have but better than nothing.
Tomorrow we are meeting at college at 9am, got one last mock to do, then refresh ourselves on the pre-seen material to ensure thats fresh.
Then Wednesday is the big day!
Not going to worry about it now but I am fore seeing the budget being blown this week as I have arranged to go for drinks on Thursday to celebrate exam being over. At least the weekend will be cheap as I am off home.

Just got back from revising at college with B, did the last mock and went through the pre-seen paragraph by paragraph again so that is fresh in our minds for tomorrow.
At that point where I don't feel like there is much more I can do. I've just got home and my FM's GF is in as she took the day off work unwell, so we're going to watch a film then before I go to bed I'll read the pre-seen again.
I do feel ready, I can't think of anything I have missed or anything I should be doing. So taking advice and having a restful afternoon so that tomorrow I feel fresh and ready for action!
As I left college earlier I noticed they had put up the seating guide for the exam and I found my name and that made me really nervous! lol
My exam is at 9:10 and finishes at 12:30 but then we have to wait in the room for 50 mins as there is an afternoon sitting so they make sure they are in their exam room before we can leave so you couldn't give away anything.
Will of course update on here after the exam!Santander 0% £1,529.94

Am wide awake, half an hour before my alarm. Woke up in the night around 2am and couldn't for the life of me clear my head to get back t sleep not sure how long I tossed and turned for. Will be buying some lucozade on my way in! I'm sure the adrenaline will keep me. Going.
Right, may as well get up and dressed and get to college early to go over my key facts and figures.....
