Yee haw LG...way to go girlie!!!
No great wonderful e-cig treat for me this week. Might get a wee £20 treat next week if I feel I need it though. Gotten a lightbulb for the winter off amazon (a very good one...the last lasted me 2 years!!!) whilst it's on offer and something to DV sort out safari (driving me nuts...hasn't worked for ages!!!) which cos £14 so that's my treats for this week
So yeah....skinny budget this week but not as skinny as last so here's hoping I can stick to it (bearing in mind I need a new sport's bra...if I'm still up at 2 though I might well cycle to Mr A the other side of town and get it (if I can find bike lights LOL) as that's 24 hours or something :rotfl: and it's so hot and do a grocery shop whilst I'm at it) as I binned my last one
...
So yeah no new carpet for me this week as it was pushing it fine but hoping new carpet on the 4th :j...Yeppas.....
E
Lol thanks

Just got home, finished work at 5 then went and worked with B in a meeting room till8 again, did another 2 mocks. We both got the top issue correct in both exams (which is key) and I got all the other three issues right but in a slightly different order although I still feel my arguement to have them in my order was strong and thats what gains the marks. We also made a brief plan on how we would discuss each issue and we seemed to manage that well.
I also managed to sneak in one at lunch and was happy with that one too, even managed to get the calculations close to right!
So still feeling positive. We are going to the same tomorrow night and the night after. So thats 4 more mocks to practise practise on the issue order, calcs and planning.
Then Friday, I have my last full mock in exam conditions which will be marked by college.
Saturday and Sunday, B and I are going into college to practise the mock exams we bought to time and under exam conditions, then we can mark each others and see how we're getting on.
That leaves Monday and Tuesday to really feel prepared and (hopefully) nail it on Wednesday.
EEK!!!
So 7 days left and that's the plan of action. Going to try and update daily on here so I can see if we're sticking to it well enough.Santander 0% £1,529.94

I am one size down. I got a regular t-shirt one for £4 (not so much choice though. Most were about 6 ) and like a cotton one for sports (no padding and no wires) for like £4...
I bop like a mad woman but it's better than having squishy bits coming out all sides LOL and it's comfortable :T
Good luck on your exam prep. Is this the final one? Sorry if I sound like one eejit in need of finding his idiot but anyhow? Didn't realise it's so close.
I have another frugal food if you can get it cheap....liver...yum...serve with mashed potatoes and gravy. I got some yesterday for 41p from mr A....I think Mr M does it for about 60p and it'll do 2 mealsand I can freeze some too
. Mr Sa is not the place to get it from though as they charge 99p for it (all sizes)...

Hi LG,
Have a quick read back on your diary here over the last week or so and you'll really see how far you've already come along in that time. One more week to go and you'll have it nailed. You've really turned a corner and it's like everything has started falling into place for you.
It's lovely hearing you sound so much more positive too. Well done x0 -

Sounds as though you've got it down to a fine art. I beg to differ.Liver + onions + smoked bacon + mash and maybe tomatoes... Mmmm! Delish. Sorry, but gravy just isn't as wonderful!
You're right though - cheap and very good for you.
Just don't overcook it.

Todays update:
Managed to do revision and be MSE! WHOOP!
Did a mock at lunch and for the first time ever got all the issues in the right order and got the calcs spot on so was dead chuffed at that!
Did 3 hours again with B tonight, got two mocks done. One, we got the top issue right and I got the other three right but two were in a slightly different order to the examiner. In the other, not so good. I missed the top issue as I read it as background information (lesson learnt!) but then got the other three issues right and my calcs were abou 75% right so thats good.
Was debating what to get for sups as I left the office and just went to Boots in the station, perfect timing as they were marking down the sandwhiches so I got a sandwich and a bag of crisps for £1.50
I got to the office early this morning so thought I'd treat myself and play with my money spreadsheet!
I have a confession to make:
I paid £133 on my credit card for my fee to have my membership to CIMA assessed (will find out if accepted in 5/6 weeks) but work paid it back into my current account, and I spent it without paying back the card, so I've £133 on that card to pay off extra. I have kept up with minimum payments this month and paid off nearly £280 so overall debt came down but not impressed I have that to pay off too.
Will worry about that next month.
Made a plan for the next few months, being less MSE the last few months has set me back 2 months on my DFD but hoping to make that up if I get a payrise if I pass CIMA.
Anyhow thats the focus for after next week. Get paid on Friday and have a vague idea of the budget for the month. Got two expensive weekends but reckon its do able and going to try and make some extra money too.Santander 0% £1,529.94

OK, so that's work finished with until Thursday next week.
Had a tricky day working out what absolutley needed to be done and what could wait... a bit like the prioritisation in my exam! LOL Finished at 5 and met up with B in our meeting room for another 3 hours and 2 mocks. Went much better again tonight, got the top issue in both nailed and the mistakes on my calcs were just down to reading too quickly - a mistake thats not uncommon for me. On the day I really need to make a MASSIVE effort to read slowly and take it in correctly.
Picked up a salad and a bottle of red on the way home, I'm now feet up, watched Jennifer Saunders Back in the Saddle which is a lovely programme about her getting back in the saddle
REALLY making me miss "my" horses. Can't wait to go back and ride next week, going to book in for Thursday I think
Pay day tonight, phew!
That's all folks! More tomorrow after my mock, will take the pre-seen to bed tonight to go over and re-inforce my knowledge of D Plc. I'll be pleased when I never have to write about that bl00dy company again!Santander 0% £1,529.94
