Hope your studying and money saving is going well.

Just de-lurking to say hello :hello: I read your diary in two sittings a few weeks ago and then there were no more updates! Glad you're back
Good luck with your exam results (although, I'll still be around when they come out - fingers crossed for you!) and well done on getting through them! I have 3 days of exams every year at work and I can't survive if I don't double my food intake!! The junk-er the better

Hi!
thanks for reading
Thanks v much I will definitley be sticking around now to get back on track with £££
Haha you know how it feels! How come you have to do 3 days each year? Is it to keep up to date with it? Luckily CIMA just say as long as you are up to date with accounting rules and regs then no more exams! Wooppeee!Santander 0% £1,529.94

Just had a nice lunch in the sunshine, am enjoying being back at work and having free brek and lunch again, already noticed my money is staying in my purse a lot longer.
I am in the new team now, the desks were moved while I was away. Although I was really down on it before I'm quite happy now. I have a great desk with a window seat and views of Canary Wharf, O2 and Olympic Stadium which is cool. The team are great and feel happy with it all
The flat last night was lovely, nice big, spacious flat, the room is a bit smaller than my current but a nice size, the view is just onto another house but seemed quiet. It is closer to the tube and trains, it is managed by an agency and you can tell it is well looked after
I met one of the guys who is staying there, he was very pleasant and seemed chilled, the other two (another guy and a girl) were away so when they are back next week I will meet them and then we can both decide if it is a good choice for me and them
Only downside is the money, bills are a bit less as split between 4 whereas mine now are between 3 but rent is £90 more per month. It is still a good price for my area considering the flat is so big.
Luckily I have time to think about it, I'm going to try and view a few more before I meet the other flatmates to get a better idea. I do think I could stretch to £90 but it may detract from paying off debt which is not ideal.....Santander 0% £1,529.94

Och will be praying about the flat LG
Sound good if you get on with the flatmates. Also if you have damp and the house in a poor condition that's going to affect your health. What's an extra £90 a month compared to like health and dryness?
Anyhow I had a really good day. With all my knee probs I've managed to put on half a stone ...and it's not coming off. It's not going up but it's not going off and I just can't face calorie counting right now. It would just do my head in. More to obsess about it. I don't think so. Make some bigger clothes I think and be happy
(fortunately this is an option for me
)....
Anyhow I'm like roll on next pay day as the loan will be paid off then :j. Don't know how long it's taken me (years. But then for years I was an ostritch). Maybe about 6 or so to pay off about £10K maybe less? I think about 5 years ago the loan was about 6k. I can't recall. Then I had the OD on top and since then I've done stuff like bought at £900 macbook. So you work it out!!!
All I have after that is a £500 OD which will get paid off in no time. Also I have ebay sales from stuff I didn't want. They're on buy it now so pray no returns.

Hi Erme,
Thanks I agree, I do tend to get a lot of coughs and colds and I think this may be why.
Sorry to hear about your knee and Im sure the half a stone will shift in time, just takes your body a while to catch up

Lovely lunch in the canteen today but I have used most of my allowance for the week so will need to pop a couple of quid on my card tomorrow.
Just rang the stables near my parents where I ride to let them know Im around this weekend, the lady who runs it who has taught me to ride since I was little had a chunk taken out of her thigh by a stallion last night, so she is in theatre right now be sewn back up, not good hope she is out v soon
I dropped a dress off to be fixed this am, I bought it for the party at the weekend and the sleeves are lace, but halfway through the night both the seams had come undone uder each armpit leaving two holes! It was £17 to get them both fixed and dry cleaned
Not heard from the flat yet, nothing new on the site thats in my budget, theres a LOT of lovely ones for around £900-£1000 per month but thats just not going to happen!
I bought some of my concealer this morning, its not a cheap one at £19 but the only one which works on my skin, I did pay for it though out of pound coins ive been saving in a pot! I think I still have about £90 in there it's v heavy! Going to save them for my splurges like this...Santander 0% £1,529.94
