You've just absolutely made my day!
I almost think there should be a law against things being 'up in the air' at work. The uncertainty can be so hard especially if it drags out. I hope it all works out and they let you know fairly soon. From what you've said about your boss I can see it would be great for you to stay working together. (I also feel very sorry for any admin staff who might have to learn parts of your job! Having worked in admin and had my role changed I remember how stressful it was trying to take on things for which I had absolutely no aptitude!)
:j
I do too, to be fair my boss is ace, he shouldn't have told us about it yet but he is so honest he wants us to know whats going on, but now I know its there I want to know the outcome!!
I really want to stay with him he is such a good manager and I feel so much more confident at work now, being happy at work is what led to me being able to tackle this debt. Until I started this job it was still rising.
I do too, I'll have to think of a good way to train them and at least I'll still be there to help them outSantander 0% £1,529.94

Hmmmm, for some reason I haven't had an email about updates to this thread for a while, so had to come find it and catch up! Uncertainly at work sucks, no matter what you hope the outcome to be. I've been living under the sword of damocles that is outsourcing for about a year and a half now. I just wish they'd p#*@ or get off the pot!
Hopefully you'll know soon, and the outcome will be favorable. Well done for focussing on the positive aspect, that you have a job.December 2005 TOTAL DEBT at its worst - [STRIKE]£20,596[/STRIKE]

as for the over booking... i use to do that all the time, i miss being able to just go out all the time but i realise i need the pain so I can get there again. now I arrange 2 nights out a month with my mates, one drinking night and one cheapy (dinner round friends or something) and then 2 date nights other than that - nada i'm being really strict!0 -
Och good for you...even when money saving it's good to meet up with mates
...
Even if it's just for a coffee and a cake and a bleather (chat) at their house...
Might have gotten new volunteering...closer and the girl sounds lovely...so we'll see. Have a busy day next thursday what with therapy group and like then docs (to check out meds reduction) then like interview and if I get it I could be there till 7

Hope the volunteering goes well Erme.
So, the PPI cheque cleared!! And I did the following:
£115 - Bought Mum and Dad Warhorse tickets for the weekend they are in London visiting. It's their birthday and xmas present and they'll be delighted. They're on hols at the moment, so I wrote a card and posted it so they'll have the nice surprise when they get home!
£50 - Over payment to C Credit, the Nationwide credit card has now gone below £2kWhen it clears online banking I'll update my siggy
£55 - To the online saver
Leaving about £50 - I spent £20 on new winter riding gloves, mine were part eaten by the horses last year and when I rode this morning my hands froze! The other £30 I'm saving as me and the single girls are going out after work on Tues and it really is my turn to buy wine my colleague paid for me last time.
Friday I was at college, it was OK but the workload is going to be huge between now and May luckily my boss is very supportive and sees it as my priority. I spent £9.68 at Sainsburys on a bottle of wine for the dinner party that my flatmate had on Friday and a few bits for the fridge.
The dinner party was lovely, we had raclette and it was delish!!
My ride this morning was flipping cold but really nice and the boys bought us toast and hot chocs to thank us for coming in!
Then chilled out for the morning and studied all afternoon until England vs Italy kick off!!! What a terrible game, I swear I've gone 100% grey now! Now just chilling until Ireland vs France kicks off, we're rooting for Ireland as FM2 is from Belfast.
Tomorrow my cousin is in London on her way back to Reading haven't seen her in ages so meeting her for a cheap lunch so another spendy day but I think I might buy my breakfast yoghurts and anything else I'll need for the week so I can rack up the NSD's in the week.
I think that's it!!! My boss is off work next week so I will get my bonus letter the week after, I'm hoping Monday!! lol I can't wait to know whats coming my way, my expectations are v low so anything will be nice! I just really really hope its enough to at least pay off the loan. I have been keeping a list of things I have to buy with it too though like new work shoes as mine are completely broken. Luckily they only cost £14.99 so Im hoping the shop still sells them!!!
God, just remembered I need to get that birthday present tomorrow, I'm a bit peeved as she never bothered to reply to my email, she was at her desk all week and only works her 9 till 5 with an hour lunch so it's not like she's been too busy. However, will give her the present and let it be not going to let it cause a rift
Monday am I have an appointment to give blood, I've never done it before and quite nervous! Any of you done it?! I'm not a fan of needles but not a fainter so should be OK! EEP!Santander 0% £1,529.94

What a fab present for your parents! I'm sure they will be thrilled.
WTG on the repayment, that must be so satisfying!
Saying yes to too many invitations is a nice problem in a way...Miggy
