    Hi,

I have been quoted £ 4500.00 @ 15.9% for the "0% on balance transfers for 20 months and 0% on purchases for 3 months" card.

Am I likely to be accepted if I continue with the application as the limit is fairly high and the rate is the same as the representative?

    Thanks

Yes... you're likely to be rejected if you get a low limit

Good morning, I checked my credit file this morning and the last remaining defaulted account I had has disappeared (I settled). I think the actual default expires in July but it's not showing on my report.

Anyway, buoyed by this I went through the application process and was offered the representative APR of 15.9 but only a £1000 limit.

It's all about the limit isn't it? I might as well wait until the default officially expires in July and then do another soft search?

The 'master plan' is to move the near £3,000 I ahve on my Vanquis card over to Nationwide and pay it off within the 20 month period - which is totally achievable now that I am 'born again' fiscally!

I just got quoted £1,800 @ 19.9%. Any ideas on the chances of being accepted with that? I'm going to leave it until next month before applying so hopefully my offer will have improved by then.

I got quoted £1800 at 19.9%. I hit proceed and was accepted. I was informed t&c docs would be posted and I need to show Id in branch. I went today to sign in branch with id, and noticed the branch copy back page had been auto ticked in the accepted box and it set out my rate and limit. G( there were boxes that said further check required, declined, and manual referral)
Once they have this faxed over it's just a case of waiting for the card according to the guy over the phone. He told me it had all gone through ok.
    Hope this helps others.
P.s I was told going to branch to sign with I'd rather than waiting for post quickens the process up.
