The Girlfriend applied for NW C Card just over a week ago, she had 2 defaults that still had 3-4 years left on them,
Soft search quoted £1800 and 19.9% apr, the card came today.
So I thought id try I have 1 CCJ on my file, I got the same £1800 and 19.9% apr on soft, pressed apply and was accepted in principal. did all the digital sign and DD setup.
But I doubt the card will actually come having a CCJ but worth a try0 -

Well youve done the hard part and applied and it said yes subject to final checks etc - if it was going to decline you on the CCJ I'd have thought it would have done so at the time you hit submit. Never say never of course but I think this looks ok..Never argue with an idiot. Especially not this idiot because I'm always right anyway.0 -

No wonder this country is in a mess, makes you wonder why we bother paying our debts back to keep a good credit rating.0 -

Spot on, I wonder the same thing myself!0 -
Clean credit record but existing debts, soft search gave £2800 at 9.9% and accepted me when I went through to the full application.
Interestingly, I put *exactly* the same information in a few weeks earlier right at the end of February and it came back with 19.9%, so there may be some kind of quota in place.0 -

Well the post came today, 1 letter was the credit card and a second was a random security check asking me to return it.
didnt think they would let me have it anyway0 -
That's unusual - barclaycard are known to do things like this - so much for proud to be different..Never argue with an idiot. Especially not this idiot because I'm always right anyway.0

How do you get to the soft search tool for the credit card with Nationwide? I can only see a link to apply for the product. Does anyone have a link?0

When you go through the application it comes up with the quote half way through and gives you the option to then carry on if you're happy with it.0 -
Hello people - i've been lurking and learning for a while but this is my first post. I applied yesterday having done the footprint bit and being quoted 19.9% cl of £7k. Have been approved in principle (which seems from this thread to be the norm) and have checked my account online to see if its appearing on there. Its in the "applications" section as "completed" but nothing in the actions column. No dd has been set up yet so just wondering how long it took for other peoples dd to be set up and appear on line, and if the status of the applications page changed at all? I have read through this thread and cant see any of my questions answered but apologies if I've missed this. thanks in advance for any answers.0
