Hello everyone - it's afternoon already. I've only had a quick glance at the thread so big hugs to everyone who needs them.
Dh slept well last night - the result of the painkillers I think. He seems a lot brighter today but is struggling to move. I've taken today off to help out but will have to go in tomorrow for a couple of hours. It transpires that he wasn't moving on the motorbike but had got stuck in a stream. He put his foot on rock to push off and his foot slipped and he went backwards and landed on another sharp rock. Fortunately he let go of the bike so that didn't land on top of him.
I thought I'd do some baking today and clean the bathroom and shower room. Might as well make use of this unexpected time at home.
Natzini - good luck with the interview

Taplady - just a thought but have you tried drinking green tea. Apparently if you drink about 4 cups a day it helps to speed up your metabolism. I tried it when I was trying to lose weight and it certainly seemed to speed things up for me (it might have been psychological I know but it worked). Might be worth a try though.Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts - DFW Nerd 323

Yeah I told them how grateful I was for them to being so honest! It was the courier company as my invoice from Lush had my full address on, but the courier label had the wrong address on! Crazy huh?

Thank you for your hugs - they are very helpful
Managed to sleep once I got off and got two hours till our son comes home from uni, so enjoying the sanity. Need another cup of caffiene tho' to cope with later.
I pulled a muscle in my arm cleaning yesterday, so taking pain killers and giving it a rest today.
We are having BBQ venison burgers and steaks for tea after the boxes have been moved. There is a bit of chocolate cake left for our son, leftover birthday cake. My husband does the BBQ with the garage open. The weather is so windy still. I have never known wind to go on so long, been 2 weeks so far this year.

Haven't been around for a few days. Had a few days of thinking as on friday my very special Grandad passed away, I do feel like he was let down by the NHS in his last few weeks and it has made me very angry. I was soooooo lucky to have him in my life and it was his time to go but it is so heartbreaking because my Grandma has been with him for 72 years since she was 14 (she used to have to take her 3 older sisters on dates with him lol!) and is now on her own for the first time in her life. So all the family have pulled together and everyone is drained and exhausted. Sorry for wittering on, had no one else apart from OH to talk about it to although he has been amazing.
Not much OS here really. I have been cooking and Mr t's is calling. OH and I have invested a little money and a lot of time in a very new venture and I can't believe we have done it as we have very little spare time to do it but it will hopefully cover some voids when OH is out of work but is up to me to manage in the meantime. I already run a very small scale Ebay business from home but I am not quite sure how to divide my time between the 2 and the kids but will give it a go. I am feeling a bit daunted by it all at the moment and perhaps it is happening at the wrong time. Wittering on again....
I have done a little lurking over the last few days. Happy birthdays to Kaz and Lillibet. DLB, I read your story what lucky kiddies you have, you sound like a very strong woman and they are so lucky to have you. What's the latest update on the fence???
Have a lovely day everyone and thanks for listening
Sorry to hear of your loss, it is even worse when you think he wasn't looked after well in his last days:(

I'm still in a bad mood but going to just get on with it. DP thankfully has naffed off out with his brother so I can get on with things, clear up after them, make them cooked brekkie and they leave sleeping bag, dishes etc for me to do! It's really windy her so have the windows wedged open (to stop them slamming shut) so I can air the place out, drunk people stink!
Time to crack on with it, going to stick some of my music onG4 and Russell Watson I think first
Hope everyone has a good dayOne day I might be more organised...........

Mr. Lewis was on .t.v. this morning talking about credit cards on itv.
It suddenly struck me that he has helped so many people with his website and he deserves an O.B.E.
Has he got one? I will certainly recommend him!
Anyway I am still trying to find out about the oyster card for when I go down to london.
I am now off to meet my friend who is shopping for her holiday to the Bahamas.
Hello to everone who has posted before me, sorry haven't got enough time to read it all.
Hope you feel better CCStar and I am going to follow N9eav and switched off C.bigbrother.Too much bullying and racism.

Am sending huge hugs to gingin, we lost 2 Grandparents last year, we were close to both of them and it really affected us a lot
So if you want to chat about anything just pm me ok?
The interview with the agency was good, I have a job to start on Monday if the supply agencies don't find me anything... it's telesales... the basic is ok and I'm good at sales anyway, but I'm worried I'd get annoyed by the other people!! But it's a job at least, and better than signing on!
This afternoon I'll be having a rest as we had a bit of a blitz of housework yesterday and now I'm shattered!
My CTs are all done, have entered some competitions and have filled in all the FBs I got through the post this morning... looking forward to the Guides chocolate badge evening now!!!
