Good Morning All - Hope we are well

BIG ((((hugs)))) to Gingin, Im so sorry for your loss, my grandad died 5yrs ago - on my birthday - of all days, I still miss him!

((((hugs)))) hugs to ccstar & kyle, I felt in the same position this wk end, I think it was because I talked my OH out of buying, what seemed a dodgy motor, and we too had a row over Celeb Big Bro, He thought Shilpa was being nasty, but I was trying to defend her. Sad I know, but we're fine now, hope you both are soon!

WM & TD on no, OH cleaned the cooker inside & out last night, with stardrops - all I can say is WOW! He's impressed, then I repeated - perhaps now you will stop moaning about me using the PC to come on here! :) for hints & tips!

DD at another party tonight after school, she has a better social life than me!

The wedding fayre yesterday, was an eye opener, It was packed solid, anyway, I picked up some great ides for any future wedding invitations, which I can certainly make at a fraction of the cost! My mum's happy with the sample I did for her! Good!

Best be off now and get showered ready for the school run & work
Have a good day all - take care
    Love as usual

Gingin thinking of you and yours, specially your Grandma :grouphug:

Today, I will be mostly going to Tesco's and the farmshop. I have finally whittled my shopping list down to the bare minimum - must have gone through 10 draughts of it

Other jobs today are; making stock from yesterday's chicken, checking the Seville orange jelly to see if it has finally set and doing a mountain of laundry.

    Morning All,

Hugs to all those who are feeling upset, ill and generally stressed.

I have not watched Celebrity BB as to be honest I haven't heard of most of the people. I tend to watch gardening, wildlife, homes under the hammer type programmes.

Oh well, I won't be doing much today as I am still not over this wretched flu. I wasn't well enough to see my family for our christmas get-together yesterday:mad:

    Take care everyone

Off to school in a mo. then its playgroup for little one.

Other than that it's just playing, cleaning, ironing and cooking in this house. Need to get my jeans taken up, but that's it

    take care all.

    Morning all

Sorry not been around for a few days, have lurked but then back to work! Wrote an assignment at the weekend and finally faced trying to sort out my accounts. I think I might start some type of 'decluttering' blog / picture blog to motivate me! I have so much rubbish to sort through it is embarassing.

Back in London now (6 hour journey from hell yesterday), thanks for meet reminder Snowy, I must dig out that thread. Was there another meet up arranged, a lunchtime one? My brain is going!

gingin condolences to you, I'm sorry to hear of your loss.

moggins, good luck for your week, sounds like you have a lot on. Hope we can support you as you do so much for the MSE community with your flying!

ccstar and kyle, hugs and I hope you sort things out.

I'm trying a new method of getting out of bed in the morning, found these great articles online:

    http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2006/04/how-to-get-up-right-away-when-your-alarm-goes-off/

Only stayed in bed for 50 min this am which is v. good for me! Hopefully I can become an up and early riser in no time! Though I am typing this in an empty office, some people don't get in till 10 am here! London life for you.

My aims for today are just to get through work, post assignment to Uni, buy an onion to make soup tonight, after going out with friends. Going to try not to drink!

    Have fun all

    Good morning everyone:wave:

I haven't been well for the past 4 days, a touch of flu, feel better now.

Gingin, sorry for your loss. CCstar, hope things improve for you. ((())) to both.

Well, we didn't go out for birthday lunch for mother as planned on Sat. Not only was I not well but my partner had some sort of stomach bug too. So it's planned for next Sat.

Back in work this morning with a chunk of e-mails to read to catch up among other things. Hoping to relax this afternoon in front of the TV, maybe surf a little.

Hope everyone has a good day
    :)

    Morning all!

First of all, (((huge hugs))) to all who need them!

I am shattered! Didn't manage to get to sleep til about 2ish last night and look a little like death warmed up!!

Have to get ready in a minute as have an interview at an agency at 10am, wish me luck! It's for contact centre work! Hopefully I won't be tempted by the shops whilst I'm out.... not that I have enough money to be!!

Yesterday afternoon I go a phone call.... it was someone who said they had a package for me! My Lush package had been mislabelled by the courier company and delivered to the wrong address, and then the package was left on their doorstep for 9 days! They got back from their holiday and found the package, looked me up in the phone book and called! I went straight round and got my package, and celebrated by having a nice Lush bath! I'm thinking of writing to them now to let them know what happened and how 'reliable' the courier service they are using is!!

Have packaged up a load of chicken 'chuck it in' soup for freezing and then this afternoon when I get back, I'll be doing some SC meatballs for tea so that OH can help himself, and there'll be something for me to eat when I get home from Guides tonight~the girls are doing their chocolate badge, hehe.

Hope to speak to you all later!

    x
