Morning everyone :hello: A big (((hug))) to everyone who is down or feeling ill. It does seem to be silly season with all the bugs that are going around and OH's being awkward! We all need some sunshine!
Meant to have a quiet day yesterday .... and I did sort of. I spent a lot of time pottering on the computer and then doing things in between .... batch of scones, batch of soup, gammon cooked and frozen in portions, and a lovely pan of rissotto
Back to w**K today - just 4 days this week though. I have Friday off
Hope everyone going through a rough patch has a better day today.Enjoying an MSE OS life0 -

Good morning everyone :hello:
(((( hugs)))) to CCstar and Kyle. Hope you feel better and brighter soon.
I don't know why I am up so early. I had a busy day yesterday doing all those things that I didn't do on Saturday. I am well organised for w**k and school today so was looking forward to having a little lie-in today. Not to be.
Still, at least dinner is organised for tonight. I made James Martin's cottage pie yesterday so it only needs reheating tonight. DS loved it first time round and asked for it again the very next night.
Snowy nice to see you back.
Have a marvellous Monday everyone. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Morning all and ((((hugs)))) to all who need them - and to those who don't
Had a great weekend - have a new (to us) car to pick up tomorrow. Good thing too, as we noticed that the tyres on our current car are very low on tread   . Added to the fact that it needs a tax disc and MOT, we had to replace or spend a lot of money and keep it for another year, at least. Not bad though; we had that one for 10 years, and it was 5 years old when we got it.
Saw Miss Potter at the cinema on Saturday. Loved it, and was in tears for most of the second half. DD wants the DVD, but there wasn't enough action or car chases for DS
DH took DS out yesterday afternoon, so DD and I had a fire, a tray of tea, a play on the radio and a *craft bee*. I did some needlepoint and she made cards. We loved it and will be chucking the boys out more often. :rotfl:
DH made a veggie chilli for tea, and DS was converted to kidney beans, fennel, but still doesn't like cauiliflower. DD and I pinched it from his plate
Have a great day, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Morning all
I'm back at work after having a full weekend off. Did the big shop on Saturday night. First time we've been to the supermarket in 3 weeks:money: we've been clearing out the cupboards. Spent £67 after BOGOFs and coupons
I was given a FREE pint of raw organic milk last week, which I had on Saturday - yummo!! For those who maybe don't know, raw milk is the unpastuerised stuff, so still has all the natural goodness in it. Farmer in the town has started up a new milk round, so I'm going to get some delivered when I'm at work. I love the fact I'll be drinking healthy stuff and supporting a local farmer:T People in the office were like "ewww, how can you drink that stuff". I did point out that people drank raw milk for thousands of years before pastuerisation came into force. They seem to think it's unfiltered and full of hairs:rolleyes: His bottles are resusable for him too, so I'll be sure he gets them back.
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Good morning everyone,
(((HUGS))) CCStar and Kyle, and anyone else who needs/wants one xxx
Snowy - glad you are ok!!!!
Well, im off to the doctors today for my blood tests, ready for the hospital tomorrow. Have the 2 little ones with me, but for some unknown reason, they love coming to the doctors with me, and sit watching whilst the nurse 'does the deed'!!! Now im not going to the hospital as regularly (no point in going to often, to be told the same news!!!) they tend to take more blood to test each time, so thats fun (not).
After yesterdays energy surge, the house is in a good state, so not too much to do, and the curry for dinner tonight is already half made, so hoping for a nice easy day with the little ones - think we might do dressing up today, so think of me prancing around the front room in fairy wings and a witches hat later!!!!
Right, little one due anytime now, better go -
Have a lovely day everyone,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0
