Laura, they were trying to help.

If you don't listen, how will you learn?
  • I got the point they were putting across Karen, it's just the way they were putting the point across. There was no need for them to have a go at the person. I hate bullies which is why I started commenting on it.

You want to get in a game of slagging each other off & throwing insults around?
All I'm trying to get across is while doing things this certain way, don't be so nasty to people if they make a mistake.

Oh, and this supposed "do not sell these items" list in the post you quoted, it doesn't exist. I've just checked with my mother who has been on the checkouts at tesco for 17 years. I'm sure they would've told her if it was real.
Nor is insulting people, however other users find it acceptable to basically call me thick. I'm assuming you reported them aswell.

I didn't realise you had to qualify to disrespect other users. Maybe that's how they can call me thick. They have a qualification in insulting people.

Laura, people are trying to explain things to you, I suggest you take 10minutes to calm down and reread some of your posts. And whether you believe it or not doesnt really matter, but the do not sell list does exist. It was for the 4p items that shouldnt have been on sale a while back, A cashier friend actually showed me the list that she had been given.

    Does she accept coupons? :rotfl:

Just a joke to hopefully lighten the mood.
    :starmod: DO IT NOW :starmod:
  • Yes she does. And she goes & buys any bargains that go through her till during her shift.
  • Right. Now that's all over, back to the bargain hunting. Anyone still getting hold of christmas wrapping paper?....thinking of stocking up on plain reds/silver/and golds to use for bdays etc throughout the year

God knows what they were doing with all our Xmas leftover's the day. Shelves getting emptied and all the paper/bows etc thrown into cages.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

Already sorted :D I do this every year as it comes in handy because no one in my family remembers that prezzies NEED wrapped :rotfl: I usually end up with them coming round for my paper, DS makes money off them all by selling access to his room at £1 a time where the paper is stored :rotfl: but at least for that they have an endless supply of paper, bows, ribbon and sellotape.

Please read this post and remember to keep the discussions friendly. If the thread starts to get unpleasant and into arguments it will almost certainly be closed by the Forum Team and that wouldn't help anybody so just try and chill out, guys :)
