We have the car seat and adaptor, so will push for the stand if needs be. I'm not a person who is greedy, but I just feel this is really important.

Gilly - before you ring in the morning, it might be worth writing down all the points you want to make so you don't forget about anything. And think about what compensation you would like in advance, as they may just ask you 'what can we do to fix it?' rather than come straight out with an offer. £700 is a heck of a lot of money, especially when they end up messing you around like that. Personally I would work out how much of a saving the current offer is and go in asking for that much refunded, then if they don't agree then you can haggle a bit. I know it might be more about the principle than the money but if you don't ask then you don't get...

Gilly, can't believe they are still messing up! I would be mad. If you get nothing on the phone (or even if you do) it might be worth sending letter detailin all that happened to head office or similar. They really messed you up.

I am tired. Was woken up by pains every hour or so and my back hurts, and both my sides hurt and just couldn't get comfortable to sleep! Need to go to town and the road looks like ice skating rink! Might ave to get OH up and get him to take me out - he hates shops!
