Morning all. Had a little bit of snow in London during the night, which seems to have gone now. Had woken up to a wonderful gift for LO from a family friend. I feel so bad as its so generous, but he has always been very generous. Will be a lovely start for our little girl. :)

Have just hit the Mothercare sale... Managed to get a cosy hooded sweater and a couple of nightdresses for me and a cute blanket and two little outfits for Pip, all for £57, so am quite pleased. I did have to make myself put a couple of things back too... Am now just waiting in Costa for OH to come pick me up. Don't think the staff want to be at work this morning, they're all very rude, no smiles or anything. Ah well.

Have you phoned them yet Gilly?!

Right, what are my chances of getting OH to take me to Mothercare?.. I really don't fancy driving today, the weather is awful...

ARGHHH, They want us to pay for the hoods, as we haven't "ordered" them? I don't thinkso, the bint at the call centre just passed me through to the store as she couldn't deal with me any more, it's not the stores fault, so got OH back on the phone to the call centre, asking to speak straight to a manager as I cannot cope with it anymore.

Edit: £100 for the hood btw, not a piddly amount.

Managed to speak to the girl at the store and she will find the hoods for us, but I'm still not happy so OH is complaining, I'm actually in tears.

This is appalling! Maybe we should make a note not to buy from them...

Honestly, find address for head office and write to the. The higher you can find, the better - you might get some comeback...

I will be writing to head office don't worry. I cannot believe this, I'd honestly never order anything from them again, as I really could not deal with this stress.

OMG my Chiropractor lady is fabulous, she has fixed me again ... I'm almost :j:j but not quite ... a big tummy gets in the way ;)

She told me that all the muscles around my left hip and thigh were in spasm and it was definitely weaker than my right because of this. Half an hour of massage later I was walking about with only the slightest twinge in in my hip and knee.

DH has been instructed to massage my hip and leg every other day and I have exercises to keep my hip joint moving. Last night I was a little stiff but with a hot water bottle on my hip and the exercises I was fine this morning.

I honestly feel like I have been cured!!! Best £44 I have spent in a looong time :D

Mmmmmm Macdonalds .... might have to join you there today :o

Already managed to demolish the top tray of a box of Dairy Box last night. Entirely accidental honestly, I was catching up with PanAm and it found its own way from the cupboard under the stairs and onto the sofa beside me. Really not sure how ;)

Okay letter written, I think it's going to be one of those letters that ends up in the newspaper :rotfl:
