Jen, let's be honest now, you probably have more nappies than a Tesco extra :D

i think you are right there! I want to find all the free sample ones to use first so if my baby grows out of size one i can take back and exchange any unopened size ones. The house is so upside down!

Morning, I feel really 'off' today. Once my toddler had left with his daddy for nursery, i had breakfast then (sorry if tmi) had to dash to the loo and had a dodgy tummy :( then felt so tired, i went to sleep on the settee. Woke up with a rumbly tummy so have just had some biscuits and cuppa tea-but now feel sick from that :( My back is still so achy, my nipples and boobs have been aching and tingly on and off for a few days now, i have felt pressure down below when baby moves (as if hes lower down). So i am feeling really fed up today. I was supposed to be meeting a friend this afternoon but have cancelled as i just don't feel up to it. I haven't even got dressed yet-and i usually like to be up and dressed fairly early.

I would be more then happy if baby decided to come now.....

    keely.

I got another Bounty pack, so another voucher for free size 1 Huggies, but tbh not sure about going to get them, we have loads of size 1's and from the way it's looking I'm having a 10 pound baby, so not sure how much use they'd actually be :o

oh keely i feel the same. my stomach has been a bit dodgy all week i think baby has moved down and there is not much room for my bowels so movements seem to be a bit sudden!
My boobs are stinging today not had any milk leak yet which i am worried about!
i am getting loads of pressure down below like she is pushing down. I was quite patient with it all to start with when i thought she was actually coming but that was a week ago and now i am just fed up!

  • Thanks Gillyx. Have calmed down a bit now, there isn't anything we can do and it certainly wont help babby if I stress about it xx

  • Goppers - I've been a slack with the pelvic floor exercises I must admit... I do them when I remember, which is every few days... I heard you should be able to hold it tight for up to 10 seconds, I deffo can't do that... Depending on where the baby is I sometimes leak a little bit when I sneeze/cough/laugh :o

Just spoke to OH - we're going to see his mum tonight for her birthday which is fine, only thing is we'll be seeing his brother too. This is the brother who has barely acknowledged me for the whole 9 years we've been together... We've been home from Australia for 3.5 months and I've not seen him yet (they live about a 10 min drive away), and up until last Friday (ie 10 days before our EDD) hadn't asked OH how I was or even mentioned me being pregnant, asked how our move into a our new flat went or anything. I see his wife and kids on Facebook quite often, and none of them have offered any kind of congrats or acknowledged our baby.

I can't stand this guy. Ugh. I hate that my baby will be related to him. OH's family avoid confrontation at all costs, so whilst his mum is totally ashamed of the way the brother is with me, nothing is ever said to him and continues to be an ar5e. So I'll have to be polite and pleasant with them through gritted teeth tonight.

you could get them and donate them to the hospital if you dont need them or exchange them for a bigger size.

I also look like i am having a larger baby. I have 10 unopened packs of newborn nappies and loads and loads of free sample ones!

I may dig out my nappies and have a look at what I have later. I think I probably will donate any unused or unneeded to the hospital, up until now the care I've received has been really really good, so would be nice to give something back :)

Well nothing happening here... I want baby out but she is not coming! Frustrating.

Good news is that the carpet is being delivered and fitted tomorrow!

If baby is anything like my first, they'll be waiting for the carpet. :D I swear mine waited till we bought a washing machine and it was delivered, as we didn't have one back then! This one will have to wait till I finish my tax return, which could be a while when I can't stay awake long enough to work on it. :D

Gilly, I'd grab the free nappies, who knows, you could always be early and smaller? And if not, head into the supermarket and ask for a swap. :D
