I'm just back from McDonalds too, so another naughty one here, not had one in about 3 months  was so so yummy.

R.e the caffeine, the reports that were actually published were about shots of espresso, hardly gonna be any pregnant woman's drink of choice, (well I'd hope not anyway) and in most cases of people I know they've moved onto de-caff.

Edit: More disturbed to find out...

A venti eggnog latte from Starbucks contains 24g of saturated fat – more than 20g limit for an average woman recommended by the NHS – and 74g of sugar, the equivalent of 18 teaspoons. The British Dietetic Association recommends adults consume a maximum of 60g of sugar a day, meaning that one drink from Starbuck exceeds the healthy limit by more than 20 per cent.

    Evening All :D

Mozzy - glad you had a good baby shower!

Been to collect pram/pushchair, monitor, high chair, bed rails etc from my ex-boss, really chuffed with the stuff and did her a christmas food hamper to say thank you (complete with those lindt reindeers & chocolate coins in little stockings for her kids) she did not want money and we are very grateful :)

Decided to go to babies r us on the way home for first time got muslin squares only as not much there we liked. So went to boots, M&s (for naughty food etc!!) then mothercare and got some bargains. Bought some extra cheap sheets winne the pooh, nappy stacker reduced, another cute travel changing mat, 2 little toys (owl & Robin) to go in the crib which hubby picked, a set with thermometer, clippers & all that stuff, a couple of basic room thermometers, sleepsuits, the car was rammed with the pram and everything in it :rotfl:

visited burger king to refuel (XL bacon double cheeseburger was for me:eek: hubby has the virtuous chicken burger but ate my chips :rotfl:)

We then visited mum's to dump some of the baby stuff for storage and Dylan did a good impression of a rocket trying to jump all over us :rotfl:until hubby holds him in a restrain position and he goes all calm in a trance and starts yawning :rotfl:

...... got home and one of my boots parcels was down the side of the house with no note and was wet  luckily the tens machine survived etc

........ am now slumped in bed as feel tired out!!

Oh and have done a bit of hormonal stropping, partly as wanted christmas tree up (hubby too tired) and generally bossing bubby about...

Stage fright Jen :p I take my sample with me, as it's too hard to try and get some out in the doctors surgery. You should ask about that? Aslong as you promise to produce the sample as close to your appt as possible.

Is that correct? What you wanted cam?

Jen I've got loads of those little pots lying around (empty!!) not full of wee :rotfl: I need to take it with me, plus my appointments are always first thing so I always feel conscious to drink as much as I can, so they don't think I'm dehydrated and not drinking enough
