If you've got the stuff, use it, better to if it still works than buying new stuff, because from what I've heard the majority of stuff gets used for such a short period of time. We've bought a lot of stuff new, but as we're really quite young ( I feel child like on this thread sometimes
) I'm hoping they will come in useful in the future, and if we're not lucky enough to be blessed with another, OH has 3 siblings who I'm sure at some point would need to use the stuff.

Kira Have they said what they'l do at your appointment if baby is measuring really really big? They said to me about induction but nearly everyone I've spoken to has said "oh they won't do that" so I'm unsure to be honest. I wasn't offered the GTT, but I did have my bloods done at my 28/29 week appointment, so I assume if there was a problem with my glucose levels they'd have contacted me by now. When I had my first bloods done my levels were really really low, but I don't know what that means, I thought it was only high that were an issue? So many questions!
I had my GTT, and it was fine, and have had no sugar traces in my pee at any of my appointments either.
At the scan they said bean was on the large side, but within normal ranges, so no further action at that time. At the midwife appointment at 34weeks, she commented on the 38 week measurment, but said that because at the scan 2 weeks before they said they were happy with her size, she wasnt going to do anything this time, but told me to book myself in for my 36 and 38 week appointments. I guess if i have grown more on tues, then whichever m/w i see will consider referring me back for a growth scan to check bean size. No idea what will happen then! I'll report back on Tuesday afternoon after my m/w appointment!Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Okay thanks
My 36 week appointment is a scan at the hospital so I'm really unsure what they'l do. Maybe I'll have popped by then, wishful thinking

Ooww. I hurt today. All the bottom of my back and my hip kills too.
Done loads of walking though today. Been and bought maternity pads, bed mats, safety gates and whatever other bits we needed. Feel better now for being organised.
Started watching Celeb trial, then went and hid in the kitchen till it finished as I felt so ill.
Especially dougie and that bug. Eurgh!
Hope you're all well. X0 -
My God!! If it's not one thing it's another! Warning, I am going to moan ....
I am up at this ridiculous hour because of a head cold and congestion in my sinuses. I've had it for over a week now and it really hurts when I lie down  So not only do I have my hips and back hurting, waking me up every hour, the pelvis pain trying to turn over, the trips to the loo every 2 hours, I have to suffer with a cold that just won't go too  I'm really starting to get annoyed with itPlus my nose is constantly bleeding with blowing it so much
I'm in a foul mood ...............0 -

I'm up too! Have REALLY bad stomach ache - was thinking "oo maybe ......" but it is probably something I've ate lol0 -
I'm like that too Mimi, baby keeps headbutting my pubic bone and I keep thinking 'here we go ....' but it stops after a couple of hours of pain
I went to bed at 9pm last night and went to the loo before hand, I was back at the loo at 11pm, 1am, 2am, 2.30am, (I got up then out of sheer bad temperedness) went back to bed at 4am, so went to the loo then, then again at 4.30am, then finally fell back asleep at about 5.30am and slept til 7.30am when I woke up needing the loo again  Everytime I go it is a trickle of wee, but I am so desperate you would think I had a bladder full. I think I'm going to take to sleeping on the loo and just save myself the bother.
3 more sleeps and then hopefully my bladder will be back to normal :j0 -
hey lovelies, just read back a bit and I'm so sorry some of you are having emotional/hormonal/OH problems. I had this too, even cried loads and I really don't do crying, and OH even really annoyed me which he never does, I questioned my ability to raise a child, what if I couldn't change a nappy properly or what if I don't have enough clothes for him, what if he wont stop crying and I don't know what to do... all these things went through my head for weeks before baby was due, but rest assured lovelies, it is just hormones and it does go. Mine just disappeared a week or so after bubs was born, think it was overtaken by the huge amount of love I feel for the little man
. I found the best way to combat the emotionalness (is that a word???) was to take myself off and be by myself for a bit, have a bath or watch a film, I did forewarn OH that I was feeling really emtional and grumpy, the tiredness doesn't help I know, but honestly it does get better xxx
I can't believe how time flies and how close some of you are to your due date, not long now. Baby Roo is nearly 3 weeks old, hes going through a bit of a stage and feeding every 1.5-2hrs which is exhausting but hopefully it will get better soon.
Jenjade my dear as you were so nice as to offer me those vouchers, I wondered if there is anything I can do for you, do you need any Rasp Leaf tea? I have 2 unopened boxes, if you'd like some, they're the clipper ones?
