When is your next appointment though? Swollen ankles/feet can be a sign of high blood pressure, so I'd try get that checked soon if you can

It's on Thursday morning so not long to go... I'll keep an eye on them. I've just looked on babycentre so got some tips off there. Hopefully it's nothing out of the ordinary.

I have to have my feet up from about 8 o clock every night, not because my ankles are swelling, but if I don't then the minute I go to bed I need to wee really bad, for a good few hours. So if I lay back earlier I can do all my toileting then (at the toilet btw not on my bed) What a palaver!

Hello............Thought id pop in and say hiya!!!!
I am 23 weeks with ds2 currently liking the name oliver for him, ds1 is 4 years old and full of energy........
Last time round i was really ill with morning sickness which was 24/7 and had to go on travel sickness pills to stop it as even water i was struggling to keep down, this time we thought we may be having a girl as i am totally fine and was only sick twice at the very beginning but we are expecting another boy.
In a way it would have been nice to have one of each but the more ive thought about it ds1 and 2 will be able to play more together and share i hope, we are all really excited to be having another bundle of joy for the new year.
Been given due date of the 28th of march xxx

Elevate your feet as much as possible. I've got swollen ankles too.

Baby is really grinding on my pelvis again, and it really hurts!

I am in a foul mood most the time. To be fair (to me I am quite uncomfortable and getting a fair amount of pain)

My stomach is really stretched and stings like mad. one of my friends asked if i had tried putting oil etc on it .... my response was not very polite!! No course i havent i just sit here winging about it never though of actually do anything about it.... i am using nearly a bottle of bio oil a WEEK!!!!!

Wonder Womble I'm a control freak too, and Miss Organised, but I think I'd be cacking it, maybe not for a C Section though. I know the recovery is tough but at least you don't have the kinda "yes tomorrow I'm going to be in agony for an unknown amount of hours" if that makes sense

I've just eaten a double choc mars bar, a 2 finger twirl AND half a pack of chicken sensations. Bum is catching up with my bump!

Got maternity bras today so ready when she is!

My one kills me!! Mostly bumping into cervix, such a sharp pain I cry out loud! Family ignore me now as its 8+ times a day! Excruciating!

Also rib pain after dinner, or when baby gets it a position against them, in bed now, mostly lying down, pain still 5/10!
And he's 3/5ths engaged, but measuring tall.

Talking of early babies, I had a strong feeling no.1 would be early, he was 10days late. Convinced this one would be early, but 37w now & nothing

The doctor at the clinic yesterday advised to go for a c-section, but I am more worried about recovery after th than th labour itself! I know I have still plenty of time, I am only just over 12 weeks, so will have to wait anyway. I know I my have to have a c-section because of the position babies are in or for some other medical reason, but honestly - I am not worried about the labour, but about recovery after c-section!!!

When i was talking with my mum she said the babies should be out be 28 weeks because it is twins and that is when she was born! I hope they will stay in a while longer, and she just didn't believe me when I was telling her that doctors here are happy for them to stay put until 38 weeks. I wish sometimes she kept her ideas to herself, she always believes that she knows it all and she is right, everyone wrong.
