We have next to nothing in new born, 2 baby grows and 3 vests. My friend is sending loads of stuff her little boy has just grown out of though, so hopefully that will do us if we need it.

I've to go back at 36 weeks with my monster because of his size. I don't know what's worse, being induced or having a 10lber. :o

Watching this trial on I'm a celeb, and I feel awful!!!

Re the size...at my scan on thurs I was 35+5 but measured 37+6 so this bump'll take after his sister who was 4 weeks 2 days early and 8lbs 2 :p

There actual meal is making me feel sick now, and that's proper food. Men are truly disgusting.

Well at 29 weeks baby was measuring 3lb 6oz. They said he's likely to put on about 1.5lbs (at the least) between then and 32 weeks and then he'l double his weight between then and 40. So about 10lbs.

I don't think my bump is that big either, but they said I don't have a lot of fluid, so could be why. :o

I really don't want to go down the C Section route, and I know with a 10lb + it gets more likely :(

Know the feeling, Beanie was estimating 4lb 11oz at 32weeks- which takes her to about 9.5lbs at EDD if she doubles.... but at that point my fundus was measuring the right size for the weeks. Since then at my 34 week, i'd gone to measuring 38 weeks, which implies a bit of a large growth spurt. My 36 week appointment is this Tues, and i KNOW my bump has shot out since then, so lord only know what i'll be measuring by then. EEEK!

Kira Have they said what they'l do at your appointment if baby is measuring really really big? They said to me about induction but nearly everyone I've spoken to has said "oh they won't do that" so I'm unsure to be honest. I wasn't offered the GTT, but I did have my bloods done at my 28/29 week appointment, so I assume if there was a problem with my glucose levels they'd have contacted me by now. When I had my first bloods done my levels were really really low, but I don't know what that means, I thought it was only high that were an issue? So many questions!

Dom What a bargain  we paid £55 for our Tommee Tippee set, it had everything but still, not as good as your bargain :p

I'm glad Dougie won because anything to do with TOWIE deserves to be locked in a cupboard and the key thrown away. How people can find that crap entertaining is beyond me.

We have the microwavable one for my MIL's house and the Table top type for our house. Have 4 x 150ml bottles 4 x 260 ml. I have 4 bottles for my breast pump too. Not planning on buying any more at the moment, but I'm assuming I may need to later on. Planning on breastfeeding anyway but we'l see how it goes.

Babies should be out by 28 weeks??Seriously??Oh my gosh. Are you sure she means 28?My middle child was born a couple of weeks before that, was 1lb 9oz and even at 7 years old has major health issues from her prematurity. It's an absolute total and utter miracle that your mum is even here as back in her day there was nothing like the medical care available now!I'm literally gobsmacked..don't listen hun xxx
Recovering from a section is hard but tbh so can be recovering from natural birth.Or you could breeze through.Try not to worry too much and see how things go xxx

yes, she was very surprised when I told her they shouldn't be coming at 28 weeks. Just because she was a twin and was born at 28 weeks, she believes that all should be like that.

I am not listening to her. I haven't for so many years, that I can't even count. Probably about 15....

I know it can be had either way, and even if I go for natural, I might end up with the emergency c-section half way through and may have to recover from both. whatever happens, I want the babies to be safe. It took us a long time to get here, and I will try my best to do it right for them.
