I am up at this ridiculous hour because of a head cold and congestion in my sinuses. I've had it for over a week now and it really hurts when I lie down  So not only do I have my hips and back hurting, waking me up every hour, the pelvis pain trying to turn over, the trips to the loo every 2 hours, I have to suffer with a cold that just won't go too  I'm really starting to get annoyed with itPlus my nose is constantly bleeding with blowing it so much
I'm in a foul mood ...............Wonder_Womble wrote: »I'm like that too Mimi, baby keeps headbutting my pubic bone and I keep thinking 'here we go ....' but it stops after a couple of hours of pain
I went to bed at 9pm last night and went to the loo before hand, I was back at the loo at 11pm, 1am, 2am, 2.30am, (I got up then out of sheer bad temperedness) went back to bed at 4am, so went to the loo then, then again at 4.30am, then finally fell back asleep at about 5.30am and slept til 7.30am when I woke up needing the loo again  Everytime I go it is a trickle of wee, but I am so desperate you would think I had a bladder full. I think I'm going to take to sleeping on the loo and just save myself the bother.
3 more sleeps and then hopefully my bladder will be back to normal :j
Can empathise perfectly with this! The last few days are all the same, and I'm getting exhausted both with baby weight and not sleeping at night. I'm trying to tie in with DH's sleeping, but it isn't working very well.
I have suggested to DH also that I sit on the toilet and he wraps a duvet around me.....
Do you go numb as well, WW? As soon as I seem to get comfortable in bed, my legs go numb....
Just out of the shower, and that's annoying too! DH has to help me in and out, and I have to lie down as soon as I get out or I risk passing out. V breathless now!
Saying that, I'm sorry for this, as I know some of you have been complaining over the last few days about OH's.
Mine is absolutely fantastic, he has never complained so far. I've felt so tired and lazy at times, and I've had constant footrubs, backrubs and hugs. He's done most of the cooking since early days (he distrusts mine anyway, I get distracted and make weird combinations), he now does all the ironing and washing up (I can't reach! Bump is in the way!), and brings me to Costa and Subway every time I ask. That's in addition to constantly helping me up, and talking to me all the time- he reads all the pregnancy emails I get. I've realised just how lucky I am- DH is very generous and kind by nature, and affectionate too. He's currently putting presents under the tree with DSD, after spending two hours making a Harry Potter lego game- and when we tried to play it, the rules make no sense whatsoever! :rotfl:
I'm on the couch, as moving is sore now. Still don't think it's labour imminent pains, feels like the SPD again.0 -
Morning all,
Had our first ante-natal class (NCT) yesterday. Was a good day. 8 couples at the class so hopefully there will be a few who might want to keep in touch afterwards. We've had a little snow here this morning, but just disappeared again. I guess it had to come sometime.......
Hope everyone has a nice relaxing day plannedTTC #3..........0 -
To the chronic pee-ers I can only advise on what has helped me, as I was going every 1 and a half hours a few weeks ago and getting next to no sleep.
I've cut down on my liquid intake after say maybe 7 o clock, and if I am thirsty after that I've just been sipping at my drink rather than gulping it down. I've also been going to bed about 2/3 hours before I plan on sleeping, resting my legs up and allowing the fluid to drain out of my legs and back into my body, now in this period I can go wee maybe 5 or 6 times, but it really cuts down the amount of times I'm getting up at night, maybe only 2 or 3.
It may not be 100% full proof as you're a bit further on than me and baby is bigger etc but it definitely helpedThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

Really noticed a difference, so thirsty though
Friday night was terrible as I'd made bacon and egg sandwiches for me and OH late on, and the bacon being really salty I had to drink loads, and was up so many times for the toilet on Friday night.
Actually had a crap sleep last night too, OH was supposed to finish at 11, didn't get home until 1.30 because the shutters wouldn't go down at work! He had to wait on an engineer coming out, and he started at 7.30 this morning, so neither of us got much sleep for fear of him sleeping inThe frontier is never somewhere else. Afternoon ladies! Hope you're all having a lovely Sunday. Dh and I have been for a walk this morning....about 6 miles!! I managedc fine and so far I'm not too achey. I don't really feel that pregnant at the minute and if it wasn't for baby wriggling and an occasional kick I could easily forget until I catch sight of my little bump!
Gilly, do you put quite a bit in your tumble drier at once? My mum always tells me to only half fill it or it'll come out creased.
Just had bacon and mushroon butties washed down with loads of tea (decaff of course!), going to get some cake now!0 -
Normally just a load Lisa. I'll power through with my ironing, I don't mind it so much if there's something good on telly and I can watch that while ironing.
I want cake!!The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
