We're at the in-laws, I've just had a massive plate of roast beef, potatoes (roast and mash...), Yorkshire pudds, veg and gravy. I am stuffed! When we come round I am usually asleep by now as MIL makes enough for ten people for the four of us but so far am still awake!

I managed to sleep on my left for most of last night and my ankles had gone down by this morning. Will still be keeping an eye on things but am pretty sure it's just the usual swelling and nothing more serious. I'll still mention it to the midwife on Thursday though.

I know that one phoenix, horrid. I have a wheat bag that I warm in the microwave and the is helping loads. I have OH's hoodie on which has a big pocket so I'm carrying it in there when the BH get painful. Does help a bit. Good luck with things too, any signs?

I have the advanced stuff and I have aquired a taste for it lol. It lives next to my bed too.

EDIT: I forgot to ask are birth announcments a bit naff now? I was going to make some and put them in with christmas cards but most people will already know by the time they arrive. What do you all think?

Yeah, my legs go numb and I feel like I have to keep moving them to get some feeling into them, which is a pain when I just wnat to lie still and go to sleep. I got cross with OH at about 4.30 when i was up to the loo for what felt like the 100th time. He asked if I needed a hand to get up and I snapped at him that I was fine, which I wasn't, but I was just so p'd off by that time. I had already woke him up by muttering under my breath and complaining to myself.

I get breathless just breathing, and doing the dishes really aches my back

I've decorated our tree this afternoon and will get OH to take photo of my 39 week bump later next to the tree and will post it up. I've spent the afternoon watching Christmas music vids but now I need to get up and make our Sunday dinner whilst OH finishes insulating our loft.

We have just had our roast chicken dinner and it went down a treat yum yum....
so sorry some of you are feeling pants, i ahvent had any problems yet but then again im 23 weeks and not suffering from heartburn or anything yet but i have some gaviscon in the cupboard ready.

I found it on a facebook selling page so im always on the look out for things, as i learnt this first time round that babies grow so quickly and not in anything for 5 mins so im being super frugal with the money we do have.:D

Il be buying a couple of things like baby grows etc..... im having a baby shower in the new year so will hold off buying anything until baby is here clothes wise other than vests and grows but not too many, as ds1 didnt even get chnace to wear half the stuff and we ended up putting them on ebay anyways.

IM also going to start to freeze some food from when i make too much for when im in hospital for ds1 and my fiance so they can eat properly, because y fiance cant boil an egg bless him.:rotfl:

Hi ladies

Hope you are all doing ok!

Ive had a PJ day, even walked the dog in them im being that lazy today.

Had the wierdest feeling earlier, really strong period pain and lower back ache acompanied by a rock hard bump. Went into a bit of a panic and text the hubby (who is in singapore). Luckily he was asleep and the text didnt wake him as i know he would have been straight onto the travel agents for the first flight home, and since there has been nothing since i think i was just panicing over nothing. Hes not due home til weds, so just hoping this isnt the start of anything before he gets back.

Driving back this evening, heard that radio 1 have something at 9pm tonight, talking about what to expect when u have a baby and talking about the caffeine news that been around this week! I`m not going to be able to listen to it, but thought some of u might want to! Hope no one else has posted this already lol! xx
